Only Mike can ban. Though that may change if you carry out your threat...

Okay, stupid shit. Courtship was an abreviation for the book, written by Dave Wolverton, entitled "The Courtship of Princess Leia." It is a BIG book. It has several hundred pages. Books of that length are sometimes referred to as "novels." The circumstances in such were that the Hapan ships in question were moving out of their cluster of stars, known as the "Hapes Cluster" and were moving into the galaxy at large. They moved a considerable distance outside of their normal territory to establish first contact (in a long while) with the NR. NR is an abreviation for the "New Republic." These abreviations can get pretty tricky, you know. After that, they move to Dathomir, which according to the map in NJO (New Jedi Order, the existence and legitimacy of such you acknowledge because you acknowledge the capabilities of the Yuuzhan Vong, a species from that series), is some distance from the "Hapes Cluster" which you might have noticed on the map. In the several thousand years of separation from the galaxy, almost all of the information available to Hapan navigation computers would have become obsolete due to natural movement of astrological bodies and in some cases their movement or destruction by sentient beings, which NO computer, no matter how advanced, would be able to accurately predict.John Clark wrote:Dumbass, I brought up THREE examples for why this is not the case.
1. Yuuzhan Vong move at hyperspace speeds. In Rebel Stand & Rebel Dream, it seems that they do use hyperspace. This is an example of a group conquering a HUGE tract of territory that they had no maps for in a small amount of time.
This is also a group whose abilities are not in question, and whose abilities are, further, entirely irrelevant. The Huuuver Bong are not the Empire.
2. Hapes Cluster. Had no contact with either Republic or the Empire before Courtship, yet it represented no significant navigational obstacle.
And WTF is a "courtship", and was the Hapes Cluster being invaded?
3. Thrawn's conquering of the Unknown Regions in less than a decade. That is a HUGE tract of unmapped territory, and the problem was not in mapping it, but with defeating the powers that resided within it.
You responded to ONE of those (the first one, by saying that the YV were not the Empire and that Imperial technology was worse/different, I could not figure out which), and now you conclude by saying that your original point is valid? WTF! This is not a Catch-22. In any case, your response was weak to that SINGLE point. You still have not responded to either of the others.

I'll tell you what. Why don't you explain to me WTF is going on in all this other random pansy-assed "Rebel Porno" shit you keep bringing up. It's never been seen on screen, and unlike you, I don't spend 80% of my time absorbed in some perpetual state of green-muppet induced orgasm. Why don't you tell me where you're coming up with all this crap.

You might be banned when you get online again, depending on what people think.

They said that you permit Wong publicly wished that it was wrong. That was, why you crossed out a simple email. If you had, instead e-sent away Wong, it would have repaired the disturbances, you underlined. He would then have explained to everyone that he had changed in its, which new section is. It is, not like it substantial cover UP conspiracy discharges, whenever it changes the Wording of a sentence. Instead you decided that you would try crucify it for absolutely no reason. All your points were more or less irrelevent. The fact that the HK test prods Son'a were distinctive VERY small, and if all Wongs original points over SF technology STRENGTHENS. SF was never shown, in order to cause in the situation zuSEIN, nothing like the HK test prods. They COULD NOT in the situation its to thus do. In each possible case JC, your problem is that you do not have an idea, which above you are approximately, when you state that SF became in the situation its, to defeat category star destroyer Imperator. We simply do not take, which says Wong and it gospelwahrheit forming. We regard, which does Wong, and we use, what we are with. In the case of switch against STR, SF does not have PROBABILITY! They do not have weapons, which can compare with the Firepower of the switch main ships. I not and to have never believed that Wong is quite over everything, says it. I believe that its computations of the untereren and upper delimitations are exact, because they are meaningful within the films and the laws of physics and of thermodynamics. Their attempt to discredit it did nothing. Goods not only you of finding the errors in its mathematics (the point website) unable, but you were also of finding everything really relevent points unable, in which attack it. That NONE of you handled Trekkies, Wongs mathematical computations on a place of assembly successfully in attack to take this large, is will to the accuracy Wongs. If Wong does somewhat, which is in the future bad REAL, I am first to email it and weight about it. I do not think that he did everything, which is wrong here, and I find that it is your behavior, JC, which is at best questionable. Its attempts, an entire criterion are further, by destroying to destroy its leader, also in vain. Even if Wong untrustworthy (in high of degrees doubtfuly, at best) is total, switch would have calmly ships, which are more efficient in considerable extent than SF. The official ICS and the STR episode after episode, examined that SF cannot hope to compete with the realm in Firepower expressed. It was also shown that SF cannot compete with the realm in logistics or in the speed. Their inability to recognize these facts led you to the wrong summaries. We blindly do not follow microphone Wong. We blindly do not assume, which he says. Instead we look which it say and draw our own summaries of the proof, which it represents.

Because he is a jackass who is immune to flames and points and counter-attacks. You cannot out-debate him because he still thinks that he is right. He constantly attacks, with no regard for himself, because he is content in the knowledge that our arguments cannot hurt him if he just repeats the same stupid points over and over again. In short, we need to use ACID on his body in order to finish him once and for all.Mr. B wrote:So why does he still think he is right. We have disproved him again and again and again but he still come back for more. He should be taken away in a straight jacket.

Or... we can just use official evidence at face value and believe that there is no reason to have to map out everything. Incidentally, in the YJK, a ship is damaged and their navicomputer is knocked out. They manage to recover PARTIAL functioning on the computer, and then, without knowing where they are, they successfully make it back to a system by remembering and re-inputting the coordinates for the destination. This would also reinforce the idea that maps are NOT needed, only coordinates.GrandAdmiralPrawn wrote:All you do is take a frigate, corvette, or something similarly small and have it putter around claiming to be an envoy of some Milky Way species nobody has ever heard of. First time it gets the chance, having encountered any sort of ship or outpost, have it buy, barter, or steal a map.
Or...
Have scores of probe droids make successive hyperjumps to adjacent stars, sending back reports and self-destructing if they are at risk of capture. This may well take a little time, but having a tiny droid pop into the system and blow itself up isn't going to tip anyone off to the magnitude of what's coming. Once a droid locates civilization, send the fleet in to kick ass and seize a full map.
There. You have just been rebutted. Go away, psycho.
HOORAYDarth Wong wrote: Ok, I've had it with this "John Clark" asshole. I wanted to keep him around for a while just to bait him by calling him the worthless little pussy that he is, and making fun of him for not revealing his true identity. But it's obvious by now that no amount of baiting and mockery will overcome his cowardice, so he will never reveal his true identity under any circumstances. Moreover, he isn't even funny any more; he's just annoying. It's as if he finally figured out that we're just keeping him around for entertainment purposes, so he started doing jack-ass things like taking peoples' posts, fucking them up with auto-translators, and then posting them just to use up space on the board and fuck up discussion threads.
He has been banned, along with the entire fucking ASU campus. I know that's a bit drastic, but the only other poster from ASU is "Ai Phling Pu", and from his demeanour, arguments, and oh-so-clever word-play in his name and location, I'll bet money that "John Clark" (all of them) and "Ai Phling Pu" are all just one seriously deranged, lonely person.
He can still log in and create a new account if he uses library kiosks in the area and gets another Hotmail account, but if this little shit is going to waste our time and pollute our board with his fuckwad flamebait, at least I'm going to make him travel for it, instead of just clicking keys whenever he gets bored on campus.
