That's true; I've seen the picture progression laid out on some plastic surgery websites and it's obvious. I don't think it was necessary either, but for PT to say she's become "hideous" as a result is just the kind of asinine "I have ridiculously high standards" Internet geekboy talk that I've grown sick of.

She was like 12 in BMX bandits (which I saw for sale in DVD format by the way), but has she really had plasitc surgery? I ask because her sisters look the same, and I find it odd that that would be the case (unless they all have the same plastic surgon of course).

A face lift I could buy into very easily, but plastic surgery?

Okay, it was probably an exaggeration to call her hideous, but I still think that the overuse of botox has made her facial expression look rather constipated (in the pics I posted, her cheeks looked abnormally swollen), and that her various plastic surgeries hurt more than they helped. Don't forget that chain smoking has made her hands incredibly red.

However, in her defense, she was quite pretty in the fairly recent "Dogville" (as well as in that Chanel advertisment):

She's hot no question about it. My point is that when talking about the most beautiful actresses she just isn't there. She's another generic attractive blonde actress, you can pretty much buy that sort at a prop store. "Hi, I'd like to get a generic blonde #42 please." They're a dime a dozen and I wouldn't consider her anything special as far as attractiveness goes relative to some actresses.

I always figured it was because they used plastic-y (plasticicy...plasticey...having the characteristic of plasticisticy) materials in the surgery. Guess I was wrong.

Plastic used to be an ajative meaning "easily shaped or formed". Or a verb decribing the action OF shaping or forming.
Surgury is self explanetory.
The term "plastic" as used to describe a material came from it's properties, which came to be synonimous with it's nature.
Like small pieces of wood ending up being called "whittleins."
