On several of the message boards I've been part of, there have been forums dedicated to fanfics. Here's how they work:

Option 1: One forum, 1st post is the fanfic, following posts are reactions.

Option 2: Two fourms, one dedicated to fanfics, the other containing "reactions to..."

I have to go with single forum, because it makes things so much simpler for the author to just click on a forum and see the reactions to his story right after the story itself.

This topic really interests me since I have a fanfic up in here that was recently updated ("Starcrossed" shameless plug)

A fanfic forum may be neccesary depending on the level of interest.

I would hope not, in answer to the question just ST Vs SW, but if it was ok... As it is I hope Mike does consider the idea, fan fics are a lot of fun, and when you get a good one going... well waiting for the next part is a drug, you have to keep checking in case it's arrived, I check Stravo's almost every hour I'm on line for example. sad but true. (Unless he's posted one that day of course I'm not that sad...)

Just curious because I have a pure SW 'fic going right now on another site and I'd probably start posting it here if a fanfic forum started up.

THANK YOU Skelron. I always appreciate positive feedback. Its hard work, but worth every effort if you can entertain folks. Chapter 4 will be up very soon.

Probably just so long as they're Sci-fi.

Since we don't have a forum yet, you can't. But once we to have a forum, you can type them out, then paste to the message when starting a thread. Simple.
