Hah, I used to be a Republican. I remember though that at the same time I found this site I read Ann Coulter's Treason, at least the first one hundred pages. The contrast in ideas I saw at the webboards here and her book were stark to say the least. That was my political Stalingrad. Kursk would definitely be Basic Training...

Now I would be hard pressed to not be seen as a liberal by Republicans, I imagine. I pretty much got swept up in the patriotism after 9/11 but I am thankfully, fundamentally open minded. (otherwise I'd still be a right wing loony and would probably have joined this site as an Axis Cast clone; I shit you not

) Still, I'd say the transition from far right to at least left of center took 9 months. But once it starts, you know it won't stop. Truth is addicting like that
