True there's not enough time for a proper training and culling...

The Sword have been reasonably well culled already. They're not elite yet, but Prius is very ruthless and exacting with his standards. At this point culling would probably weed a few more out, but it wouldn't be great gobbing droves.

After all, he holds his troops to his own standards when it comes to behavior and 'courage'.

(Courage encased in quotes because Prius isn't brave, he's insane. Big difference, as well we know.)

How is everyone doing? I plan to be unleashing the Black Company RPG on my friends tomorrow and I'm quite looking foreward to it.

Typh, Gix hasn't stated where he'll be landing or what force he'll be a part of. If Talstrem wants to talk about it with him, go ahead.

More Memoria and BC done.

It looks like most people will be erratic for the next few days. We'll take it slow.

Hrm. I really don't mind. It looks like you'll be using him for most of the battle anyway, so wherever suits you.

In the front, anyway. :P

Look out, Jolan! He's wearing a digital weapon on his finger!

Heh.

It's up to you Pcm, if you want him with the Sword or not. I can write him up wherever.

Yeah, why not? It could be fun.

In related news, my schedule:
I'm on for another hour today, off for 40 minutes, on for another 40, then not back until Monday, unless I can find a handy Internet cafe.

I've never actually *wanted* to go to school until now. I swear I feel blind without a 'net connection.

I feel your pain. Due to my ISP difficulties, which can't be resolved until Monday (billing issues), I had to call a buddy and get the number for a no-cost ISP.

Bless the flat rate long distance. Right now I'm accessing an ISP in Boston.

Ouch.

Hrm. So, you're here, IO isn't and I've got another 1/2 hour on the 'net for the moment... Get ready for the revisionist history!

I'm back, but Pater's rather tied up waiting for IO to arrive. By hook or by crook I shall access an Internet cafe tomorrow!

Lemme see. Who else could Prius meet? Slate, Gyllia, Gork and/or Mork, Niner, or... Hrm. That seems to complete my list of named characters.

Speaking of named characters, what's up with the crew of the Wager? When last we heard of them they were heading towards an unnamed system.

Yeah, and the storyline really hasn't presented me with a chance to bring them back in. The events on Cyrus Gamma are precisely the sort of thing they'd avoid like crazy.

But even if they don't show up now, they'll still be around for the aftermath, or when we jump the story.

Assuming y'all live long enough to enjoy an aftermath.

It is about time I began to take a more active role in this once again.

Well, then, they'll probably live long enough to HEAR about the aftermath...

Sorry I've been away. My school laptop is busted (for want of them supplying a new power cord a surge got it and fried the chips) and I'm being forced into a nice little fight with them about getting it fixed. Right now I've got a "loaner" that's just about as broken and is completely unreliable.

Got to love those penny wise and pound foolish decision making processes.

That might as well be the motto of the IT and Student Computers Departments. The stupid decisions they've made. Oh, I could get on an hours long rant about that.

Anyway, my character probably will just lurk in the background mostly. So if I'm on erratically it should at least be not that serious a problem.

No worries. We're in kind of a slow cycle right now anyway.
