Some food for thought (was RE: Operation Northwind)

Post by RayCav of ASVS »

Any of you heard of a one-season show called "The Lone Gunmen"? It was a spin-off of The X-Files that featured those weirdo friends of Mulder who published their own conspiracy theory newspaper. Anyway, the series premier revolved around the premise of the U.S. Air Force crashing an airliner into...you guessed it, the World Trade Center! And you guessed it, it supposedly was to provide an excuse to "sling cruise missiles into the Middle East" (that's the best quote I can think of).

Of all these months, I expected for someone to bring this up, didn't know the Lone Gunmen was THAT obsure.....

Yeah, Clancy's fictional conspiracies/plots are far better written than anything some ultra-liberal TV writer could think of.

Actually, I think TV shows like the one mentioned are a Trojan Horse for the writer's opinion, and with all the liberals in the media, I wouldn't be suprised if it was.

I wish Lone Gunmen were still around. They were smart funny and had good plots. The only reason it failed was because the Xfiles were already going out and nobody wanted to see it anymore.

TV is full of shit today and many good series are left to dry because the networks don't give them enough backing.
