No, retconning Doom Reed Richards' college roommate doesn't give him super powers. Doom is a supervillain because he's brilliant, not because of superpowers.

True, but I don't know. There's something to this that seems wrong. I'll probably still see it, though I don't have the same faith in it being pulled off well like Marvel's recent boom in the movie industry.

The thing that struck me the most about the trailer was the music during the first half of it. Saying it sounded like it was composed on a casio keyboard would be giving it too much credit...
