I love Homeworld, but it has its place. I'm sure 90% of this board has experienced it. Basically, Homeworld doesn't accomplish the same things this game will and vise versa.

Different game, different challenges.

Don't you think maybe Praxis HAD played the game?


Homeworld is one of the most fun games out there, but its gameplay mechanics are hard to pull off, and not every game needs it.

I actually haven't, but I have seen enough of it to get the general idea.

The thing is, 3D space games are very hard to pull off right. So either:
A) They have to completely rip off Homeworld
B) They have to come up with their own system, which might very well suck
C) They can go 2D with 3D elements, which is just DIFFERENT, not better or worse.
