On their Episode III section, TheForce.net is reporting that Belgium, France, Switzerland & Uraguay will be the first countries to see ROTS on May 18, one day before the American release.

Trustworthy spoiler sources has said that he essentially blames the Jedi for his appearance, like "Look what they did to me".

Very nice; Palpatine's addressing of the Senate and declaration of Emperor is the scene that I've dying to see since we saw the Senate in TPM. Also, is that Mas Ammeda or another Chagrian ?

"So be it... Jedi." Emperor Palpatine, Return of the Jedi

As Shaak-Ti prepares to defend the Jedi Temple, Anakin Skywalker takes a speeder, and through the pouring rain, flies to Chancellor's Office.

Meanwhile, the Jedi arrive at the Senate. Mace and his posse make their way towards the private office of Palpatine where he is awaiting them. As they enter the office, Palpatine activates an audio recording device and secretly hides his saber in the sleeve of his robe.

The trap is set.

The four Jedi confront Palpatine who acts surprised and fearful. The Jedi light their sabers. But, without warning, Palpatine strikes first; killing Saesee Tiin and Agen Kolar within a fraction of a second.

"Murder! Treason!" he shouts.

Then he smiles. Putting his finger to his lips, and winking at the two Jedi, Palpatine destroys the recording device with a stab of his red lightsaber.

"Enough of this!" declares Sidious; and with a slash of his saber, the green head of Kit Fisto lands on the Chancellor's control centre. Mace begins his attack. The two fight, moving into the public office of the Chancellor.

Outside in the rain, Anakin drives the speeder close to the window. Kit Fisto's head stares directly at him from upon the desk. Anakin lights his saber and cuts through the glass, entering the private office.

Poor Kit.

Hayden Christensen on being in the suit: "I begged and pleaded and they were kind enough to build a suit that fitted me. They had me in stilts under my heels to give me an extra four inches"

This is in answer to a question where the interviewer points out he's four inches shorter than David Prowse.

"Are there any differences between your Vader and Prowse's?

Physically, because it's a brand new Vader suit, I think it's a little more symmetrical. My Vader is also a little more rigid - obviously he's brand new to the suit, so he's still getting acclimatised. There's a sense that he's finding his new skin, and not quite as comfortable with walking. Which was very important for me because - on stilts and with a twenty pound costume - I wasn't very graceful."

And about the lightsabre fight:

We're taking it to another level in so many ways. It's longer for a start, the geography that we cover is so diverse: we're fighting in different environments that affect the way we fight. The fighting styles evolve throughout the fight, depending on where we are. It's also a bit of a throwback to the original trilogy, with some of the more epée-influenced fighting styles from the original Obi-Wan/Darth Vader fight in Star Wars.

Yes!

There's a lot of one handed light sabre fighting. It's just a more fierce, emotional fight. I don't think, in any Star Wars film, you've seen two comrades having a fight to the death. It's all fuelled by really raw emotion, which makes everything that much more exciting. It was really thrilling for me, one of the more exciting aspects of getting to do the film.

Photos taken from the toy-display at Walmart´s. Apparently the Scout Trooper riding the Barc Speeder is called a Barc Trooper. And the two-legged, open-air walker is indeed called an AT-RT. (Even looks like the armor in front of the driver is more extensive than in previous images, hopefully it will be like that in the movie as well.)

Yeah, it does look as if the protection is better than previously thought. What could AT-RT be an acronym for? All Terrain Reconnaissance Transport perhaps?

Yes, there has been spoiler reports that has been saying that love and compassion is the key to the Force Ghost thing. That's why the Sith are incapable of this. I'll have to refresh my memory though.

Most likely that. Though I wonder, what is the difference between calling something "Reconnaissance" as opposed to "Scout"?

Well Obi-Wan and Yoda must have got it by the end on some level, otherwise they wouldn't be able to come back as Force ghosts, right?

Webdoc #14 is out. Shows the particulars of Obi-Wan getting knocked out of the fight by Darth Tyranus. In essence, he gets force pushed- hard. Note that Dooku accomplishes this with *two* Jedi Knights fighting him.
