It's some type of swedish hawk or falcon(that's what the language appears to be and the person posting it is from stockholm). If it were from my region I could drag out my birds of new york state guide book and id it but alas I don't have such a resource for sweden.

i doubt that. ferruginous hawks are types of buzzards but they live in america, not in europe.

maybe. on the other hand wikipedia lists 27 different kinds of buzzards. some of them might look quite similar.

i was wondering about that, too. the drawn picture at wikipedia fits quite well, doesn´t it. also the area in which they live would fit.
