Legend of Zelda vs. Lord of the Rings

How would the following fare:

Sauron vs. Gannondorf (or Ganon in nis giant monster form)
Link vs Aragorn (assuming both are armed with a simple sword and a bow)
Queen Gohma (first boss in Ocarina of Time) vs. shelob
Fierce deity Link(Majora's Mask) vs. Sauron
Footrace: Shadowfax vs. Epona
The slimy sycophantic weak bad guys: Ingo vs. Wormtongue
Gandalf unleashed(when he destroyed the Balrog) vs. Gannondorf


Personally, I think Zelda would get its ass kicked so bad its not even funny. Even the bigger monsters Link can kill by himself. Im writing a crossover fic between the two, and I had to poewr up the Zelda characters to make them close to even. But I know the responses this gets will be entertaining.

1) Sauron doesn't even break a sweat as he kills Ganon. He just doesn't have the power or ability to stand up to the Dark Lord.

2) Link hasn't been spent 80 some years fighting. Aragorn has a massive edge even if Link can absorb more damage. Aragorn has a lot more skill and experience.

3) No idea, but I'd imagine that Sauron wins.

4) Shadowfax, fastest and much, much greater endurance. He hauled ass from Isengard to Mina Tirith in a under a day. There now way Epona can beat that.

5) Wormtongue, look at what he did to Theoden. He physically weakened him, sapped his will and gained a powerful hold over him.

6) Squish, this would go badly indeed for Ganon.

[The Dark]

Agreed. Ganon was not terribly powerful.

Agreed unless Link is able to use his magic, though I think the rules as written forbid that.

No idea, haven't played Majora's Mask.

Agreed, Epona is a fast horse, but Shadowfax is supernaturally quick.

I thought that was due to poisoning, and that he was advised by Saruman. This would be a close match.

6) Squish, this would go badly indeed for Ganon.

Ganon would last about half a minute, if Gandalf is feeling patient.
