There's also a bunch of other places that you can find info on.

You may also want to know that warlocks can do a bunch of other things too, like entangle. If you want some squad to stop running around or wanna stop a possessed squad dead in its tracks, research entangle, then have your warlock cast entangle on it and it freezes in its place for about ten seconds.

Then you can have a reaper squad shoot them up.

You can also freeze ranged units like marine squads. If they happen to be facing away from your troops, they can't turn around to shoot back. :P

Well by some luck I got on the "early" train home, so I'm ready for a game! I'm told thirdfain needs half an hour - anyone want to play a quick game until then? :D

Edit: Or rather no thirdfain again tonight :?

Bah. I'll be a few minutes; Dawn of War is insisting on running minimized and won't come up. I need to restart.

Arise, my beauty, I have need for you once again!

Sorry for resurrecting the threat, it's only been two weeks, so I figure it isn't that bad of a thing.

Anyway, does the SM commander (hero) have some sort of stun ability that goes off on its own (like the farseer's psy attacks)? Whenever space marines "trap" my farseer I seem to lose control, she'll be selected, but can't move, won't attack - just plain dies outright. Anyone know what's actually happening here?

The Captain has a Thunder Hammer (well, Daemonhammer technically) so yes, he stuns whenever he hits.

Same thing applies with Assault Terminators; which is why it's wise to keep for example, Bloodthirsters away from them. :)

Interesting note: Force Commander + Librarian = Dead Avatar or Bloodthirster.

People have told me that yes, that does happen.

Anyway, tonight might be a little late for most people, so I might try playing tomorrow.

On a sidenote, I've started playing DoW online again after a bit of absence. 5 wins out of 5 games. Sweet. :)

Well last sunday I played the single player and found that the heros always come back, so I just sent the two of them into the avatar over and over again, and they didn't even come close.

You forget one thing:

The Force Commander at that point has a power sword, not a Daemonhammer. :P

Dammit, for some reason the battle records in my new account (12/6 wins/losses) just reset themselves to zeros. What the hell? :?

There's a message at the top of the screen when you log into gamespy, says something about losing stuff if you don't play at least 1 game per week or some such nonsense. Could be the reason.
