Rome TW 1.2 patch is out now.

Aside from all the improvements (I've noticed large bodies of troops move more effienciently through small gaps now) I'm getting a new and interesting crash.
During battle, while click-dragging a line of troops on the map, it hangs, turns of my display, and never comes back. Nothing else does this. I've noticed in battles a few wierd render errors, like terrain flickering for a second as well. Anyone else have these problems?

I've seen a couple of odd graphical glitches as well. I've also been dropped to the desktop a couple of times, but the game is just minimized. If I click on the taskbar icon it comes back up and keeps running, so I haven't been too concerned about it. On balance it's a fairly stable game, and those occasional graphics glitches are a minor annoyance rather than a showstopper.

Thats what my crash is like: it stops, then it goes black, like when you accidentally hit 'windows key' in a graphically intensive game. I guess I just never wait long enough for the desktop to come back...
But yeah, the patch has improved the game a whole lot. Just the subtle things like better collision and pathfinding on the soldiers make a big difference.

Yes, it's been fixed. Squalor is capped at a certain level so that it doesn't keep infinitely increasing as your population grows. I now have cities with well over 40,000 people in them and a mere ten-unit garrison and over 100% public order. Before the patch, it was nigh-impossible to have a 40,000 person city without massive civil unrest.wautd wrote:Is the civil unrest thingy been fixed?
