Of course, you'll want to get a Game Boy Advance and this game in order to get the most out of Metroid Prime. Plus, this one's more like the classic side-scroller...

Been playing the display full version...and the game is just too awesome for words...another need purchase for the GBA(though the link seems a little hackneyed unless the suit is that much different in Prime)

Okay from what I know:

That's Samus' new power suit. She's also fused with an alien parasite that attacked her on the metroid's homeworld and infested her power suit. Some heavy duty surgery managed to get rid of most of it but they had to scrap a lot of her old suit (and other bits of it were fused with her).

Interestingly enough the parasite that attacked her USED to have a natural enemy that was kinda exterminated.. anyone wanna take a guess what that natural enemy used to be?

Easy, it was the Metroids.

Actually, I also heard that in the game, the parasite that was removed also has the rest of Samus' suit, and actually moves independently around the area, and will attack Samus on sight(This was shown in a screenshot).

Hmmm... Everything I've seen says that the infected portions of her suit were disposed of and the X-clone is a full copy her suit, rather that just the remains of it. Everything I've seen also suggests that Samus-X is an unholy badass.

At certain parts of the game, if you stand at the right place, the thing won't even see you. When it does see you, it'll relentlessly pursue you. You don't want to get hit by its Icebeam.

I really like the Metroid Fusion endings. Samus is lovely.
