this one is annoying.
things Ive found work -
open the little hatch above the yellow arrow. there are guys inside.
hit the yellow arrow. this lets them out.
you can move the cannon aim down, and bring down the bridge.
you can move the cannon aim up, and hit the bell.
if you have the left window open and arrow aiming right, a door opens
if you click the door, a guy comes out
if you fire the cannon again south, it explodes the guy with the lamp
if you click the lamp as the grenade comes in, he can get away
if yu run out of ammo, you can use stick figures. you can get one on the plateau.

Oh, I've tried it alright, but it's way too painful for me. I prefer puzzles to be solved with a gun in hands, if you don't mind.Enforcer Talen wrote:no one trying it? Ive beaten it, so can toss out more advice.

W00t! Between timed events and proper order, that was getting frustrating. That, and some things are just distractions.

Could you expand on that a little? I'm totally lost on that matter.Enforcer Talen wrote:if you click the lamp as the grenade comes in, he can get away.

You have to time it just right so he steps out of the way and breaks the lamp just as the bomb explodes. I've done it once.InnocentBystander wrote:If you click a lot on the lamp while the bomb is heading into the hole he'll realize it and try to escape. But whenever I do it he ends up blowing up anyway :/

Crap. I thought it was that, but that's damn annoying. Unnecessarily twitch, that. Trick is obviously to click it three times before you fire the nade, so you don't have to rapid click.

There's an easier way to save him from being blown up.Kamakazie Sith wrote:You have to time it just right so he steps out of the way and breaks the lamp just as the bomb explodes. Yeah, you need the bell tower intact.Err, okay, so I blew up the belltower so he doesn't get sliced up, but the guy on the plateau just sorta stands there...
If you don't want to read on, don't.......
The first stone out of the cannon needs to be fired horizontaly so that it knocks the plank of wood over the hole, after that the second stone is used to ring the bell. The two bombs should be fired horizontaly. If you click the plank you can knock them up in the air so they detonate safely.

lamp isnt necessary.
if your stick figure is on the plateau, he can push the belltower to the right and drop the bell on the catapult. . .
lets see if you can figure out what you need from that

The lamp is more of an opportunity to save a critical character. I solved it almost four hours ago but I had to get too class.InnocentBystander wrote:Is breaking the lamp necessary? Lets say you use the bridge to get passed the two bombs and you have the stick figure on the plateau, what next?

Ok, here's where I am stuck at. I can get the bell to ring, i can get my guy with the lamp out with the bell tower intact, however how do I get my stickman to the plateau? If i shoot him through the cannon, he dies on the spiky catapult (since i can't get it to raise). I've tried shooting him horrizontally and trying to pop the plank, but no luck.

Without giving it away just think of these terms.Terr Fangbite wrote:Ok, here's where I am stuck at. Timing, and dodging. THink about what causes the spear to be held in that lethal position. Try and think of ways to take care of that.
You'll then have to find the proper order of things.

Sadly I have already done that... I am stumped at this point. I've tried everything I can think off, but I can see no way to get the bell to ring and the guy up there since the precise order of things that must be fired.

You have two rocks in the cannon. One to lower the bridge, and another to ring the bell. The "spiky catapult" is just that: a catapult. You can kill two birds with one stone with your second rock. See what I'm saying?Terr Fangbite wrote:Sadly I have already done that... I am stumped at this point.
