Ah... Mechanical Man. Almost everything from C&C (the original) are very catchy, like Act On Instinct, Just Do It, and C&C Thang.

The intro theme from X-COM.

...and given how much ASS that kicks, I don't mind.

The intro music for Batman: Dark Tommorow, and the music for the final levels of Jedi Outcast.

C&C music all the damn time. I love it though. In fact, I need to find out where to get the original C&C soundtrack, along with some of the others-- I own the Red Alert soundtrack, with Hell March, Bigfoot, Twin Cannon, and other such goodness.

The tune from Halo, and the main tune from the Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons Of Liberty

there is no passion, there is serenity,
there is no death, there is the Force

My weakness is "Beyond the Bounds" from Zone of the Enders 2: Second Runner.
There are two kinds of people in the world: the kind who think it’s perfectly reasonable to strip-search a 13-year-old girl suspected of bringing ibuprofen to school, and the kind who think those people should be kept as far away from children as possible … Sometimes it’s hard to tell the difference between drug warriors and child molesters.” - Jacob Sullum

Ahhh, wait, now I remember.

I have a peculiar difficulty with the Castle theme from Zelda 3. Though it does have a tendency to become a fairly bouncy dance mix in my head.

The Star Control 2 music was stuck in my head for years, it was so good. Freelancer while being medicore also had some awesome music particularly when Liberty and the Donau's escort fighters try to avenge the cruisers death. I can just imagine that music playing while you attack a Coalition taskforce in Starlancer which was a much better game.
I have to tell you something everything I wrote above is a lie.

Me too. Most, if not all, of the musics have been in my head ever since I first played the game (when it was released, so...) from C&C: Tiberian Dawn and Red Alert, and "Stars" from Civilization 3. Damn, I remember that music every-single-time I hear a music with a sax on it.

Ah! My childhood has passed me by I suppose... I can remember remembering having tunes stuck in my head (but I can't remember which ones!) but it's been years since I've had a video game song stuck in my head... and yet I listen to so much gaming music? I'm confused :?

The music from System Shock- especially that from the intro cutscene, the main menu screen, and the first level. God that game kicks so much fucking ass.

Wait...someone actually had trouble with the Gym leaders in Pokemon Ruby? BWAHAHAHAHA! Torchic pumped on random encounters > them.

Anyway, back on topic, I often hum the FF victory tune when I beat something, or the Zelda 'got item' tune when finding something. I also get a lot of music from Megaman stuck in my head; I think my friends are sick of hearing 'Supreme Ruler' by now. :D

Meh, it might be because I played Red so much, and was at the point that I'd have a team of 6 all of them lvl 10+ when I walked into Pewter CIty and beat the game with 15+ very different teams, and I could easily keep my pokemon up to level with the opponets with wild pokemon, but with Ruby I think they were emphesising the smaller teams, and there was very little variety in teams and almost impossible to keep your 6 up to the gym leader's levels with wild pokemon when the trainers thined out.

The worst case of a tune in my head was the first mario brothers game on the gameboy. When you beat the game... it shows this rocket flying in the sky with the tune looping forever... or at least until you press any button.

Phantasy star 3 opening credits, overworld and other main themes for the game. I played that game like a madman. I just had to get all those alternate endings. so those songs stuck with me for days after playing it.
still listen to the midi versions of them.
