5 Gunstars vs. ISD MKII

5 Gunstars from the movie The Last Starfighter vs. one ISD MKII with a full load of fighters (say 70 percent Tie's 30 percent Tie Interceptors) who would win.

The ISD does not have any Sith on board, just standard IMP Capt.

I say the Gunstars win but take a heavy beating.
2 destroyed out right
1 with heavy damage
2 with light damage

Yes I love the movie "The Last Starfighter"

It is also my birthday so I can have a little fun.

Do the gunstars give and take in GT-TT levels of weaponry and defense?

HMMM. Sorry Guyver, I'll have to go with the ISD on this one. The Ko-dann mothership had neither the firepower nor the shielding of an ISD. Nor did it have the massive quantity of starfighters the ISD has. I think the Gunstars'll royally trash the fighters, but fail to defeat the ISD itsself.

Well does anybody have the calcs on how strong a Gunstar is. I still think they are cool ships and are stronger than anything in Star Trek.

I've always compared them to SW, since they can easily blast through solid stony/iron rock asteriods. I mean, one laser bolt hit the first Xurian fighter and took it out.

Unknown, but able to take out something twice the size of a Y-wing in one hit and cause chaos on a capital ship.
