No, Bruce Spence. And he's only played Meddon, not the Reman Viceroy. Spence wasn't even in Nemesis.
he did however play the Mouth of Sauron in RotK.

I believe in a sign of Zeta.

I was wrong (Tion Meddon is played by the actor who played the Mouth of Sauron in ROTK:EE (Bruce something I can't remember his last name), he look a bit like Ron Perlman with that make up.Elheru Aran wrote:Ron Perlman?

Spence was also in Matrix Revolutions (train man or something). Which is kinda funny- he's in the third movie of each of the three big trilogies. One of which sucks balls.

For a moment, I'm going back to the subject of Obi-Wan's saber and how he makes the transition from Prequel era to the ANH weapon. The Master Replicas site, which put up the order for the ROTS-Kenobi saber, apparently has the answer of how it occurs:
ROTS Kenobi Lightsaber
ROTS Kenobi Lightsaber
In this climactic Star Wars movie, Obi-Wan Kenobi is armed with a new lightsaber - built when he ascended to the Jedi Council. Since this new weapon represents the one used by Obi-Wan in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, the prop department referenced available archive materials and machined a similar looking hilt in aluminum, with brass and resin details.
The MR Obi-Wan ROTS sabre looks too thin. I know they did it on purpose to make it easier to handle in the fights, but it just doesn't look right. I prefer the "as first built" Obi-Wan ANH sabre that MR did.
Anakin's ROTS sabre also isn't identical to Luke's in ANH, which I just don't understand- all MR needs to do is release a "shiny" version of the ANH sabre, in a perfect world. On first glance it looks the same though, I guess that's whats important.

It's possible in the case of Anakin's saber that it sustains damage in the fight against Obi-Wan, forcing the Jedi Master to repair it with the limited tools and resources at his disposal once he reaches Tatooine with the infant Luke.Vympel wrote:The MR Obi-Wan ROTS sabre looks too thin. Possibly, but unlikely to be seen in the film. I doubt their attention to detail will be that anal.

I think this, coupled with the ARC-170 fighters will be the closest we get to ARC troopers in G-canon. The commanders probably admired the ARCs successes so much, they decided to copy their style to honor them. Hayden Christensen Interview
Hayden Christensen was interviewed by the Times Online and he had a lot to say about his role as Darth Vader. You can read about it here and
here. The following are some of the highlights:
What was it like donning the famous mask and suit for the first time?
The feeling is really hard to articulate. There was such a surreal, glossy quality to the two days when I got to wear the mask and the whole Darth Vader suit. It really capped what has been a very prominent part of my life.
The job I was given was to be the connective tissue between Jake Lloyd (young Anakin) and Darth Vader. Getting to put on the mask and everything, it was like, wow! The job is done.
You're four inches shorter than David Prowse, who played Vader in the original films. Is it true that George Lucas was originally planning to use another actor in the suit?
Yes, but I begged and pleaded and they were kind enough to build a suit that fitted me, and then they built on what was necessary to make my physicality the same as the original Darth Vader's. They had me in stilts under my heels to give me an extra four inches.
Are there any differences between your Vader and Prowse's?
Physically, because it's a brand new Vader suit, I think it's a little more symmetrical. My Vader is also a little more rigid - obviously he's brand new to the suit, so he's still getting acclimatised. There's a sense that he's finding his new skin, and not quite as comfortable with walking. Which was very important for me because - on stilts and with a twenty pound costume - I wasn't very graceful.

Master Replicas Confirms Info
Master Replicas unveiled their Revenge of the Sith product line and along the way confirmed a few spoilers:
Anakin Skywalker™ Lightsaber™ Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
After three years on the front lines of the Clone Wars, Anakin Skywalker's incredible feats have made him a hero throughout the Republic and earned him full Jedi Knight status. Now, as the Clone Wars reach their devastating climax, Anakin returns to Coruscant for a daring rescue that earns him an appointment to the Jedi Council but is only reluctantly accepted by his fellow Jedi.
While continuing to conceal his marriage to Padmé Amidala, Anakin worries that his nightmares of Padmé dying in childbirth may be prophetic, and the young Jedi is determined to find a way to save her.
Seduced by promises of unlimited power and the hope of stopping death, Anakin plunges down the path to the dark side that has been carefully laid before him. Betraying the Jedi and those closest to him, Anakin Skywalker transforms into the most terrifying incarnation of evil – the Sith Lord Darth Vader.
The weapon Anakin wields represents the lightsaber that will one day be handed down to his son, Luke.
Obi-Wan Kenobi™ Lightsaber™ Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
"General Kenobi, years ago you served my father in the Clone Wars…" Leia Organa, Senator of Alderaan
In the years since the onset of the Clone Wars, Obi-Wan Kenobi has become a Jedi Master serving as a General in the ongoing war against the Separatists. After rescuing Chancellor Palpatine from the clutches of General Grievous, the dreaded commander of the droid armies, Obi-Wan tracks Grievous to the sinkhole planet of Utapau, where he must destroy him if the war is to end.
By the time Obi-Wan returns to Coruscant, the Republic has fallen, and his worst fear is realized – his former Padauan Anakin Skywalker has turned to the dark side and become Darth Vader, a Dark Lord of the Sith. Now, Obi-Wan must confront – and destroy – his former apprentice. On the volcanic lava planet of Mustafar, old friends turned fierce enemies face off in the ultimate lightsaber battle that will forever change the destiny of a galaxy…
Taking the World War 1 grenade and faucet handle details of the original they cleverly reworked them into a narrower, more streamlined design. This not only made the hilt easier to wield in the many fast and furious lightsaber fights, it allowed it to fit into the design.
Yoda™ Lightsaber™ Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
While the Clone Wars ravage the galaxy, the wise Jedi Master Yoda senses the dark side of the Force surrounding Chancellor Palpatine. When the Separatists invade the Wookiee world of Kashyyyk, Yoda leads the Republic's clone army into battle. Assisted by the mighty Wookiees Chewbacca and Tarfful, Yoda barely escapes a surprise ambush when the Clone Wars take a fateful turn.
Upon his return to Coruscant, Yoda learns the terrible truth. With the Jedi™ decimated, and the Republic reorganized into the first Galactic Empire, Yoda must face the new Emperor in the ultimate confrontation between the greatest wizards of the Force in the galaxy.
For Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, Yoda is armed with his elegant lightsaber, which remains largely unchanged from its original appearance in Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones.
Spoiled Silly
MillenniumFalcon.com continues to flirt with death by LFL Ewoks by posting more spoilers on Episode III. Here's the latest batch. (Highlight to read):
As Shaak-Ti prepares to defend the Jedi Temple, Anakin Skywalker takes a speeder, and through the pouring rain, flies to Chancellor's Office.
Meanwhile, the Jedi arrive at the Senate. Mace and his posse make their way towards the private office of Palpatine where he is awaiting them. As they enter the office, Palpatine activates an audio recording device and secretly hides his saber in the sleeve of his robe.
The trap is set.
The four Jedi confront Palpatine who acts surprised and fearful. The Jedi light their sabers. But, without warning, Palpatine strikes first; killing Saesee Tiin and Agen Kolar within a fraction of a second.
"Murder! Treason!" he shouts.
Then he smiles. Putting his finger to his lips, and winking at the two Jedi, Palpatine destroys the recording device with a stab of his red lightsaber.
"Enough of this!" declares Sidious; and with a slash of his saber, the green head of Kit Fisto lands on the Chancellor's control centre. Mace begins his attack. The two fight, moving into the public office of the Chancellor.
Outside in the rain, Anakin drives the speeder close to the window. Kit Fisto's head stares directly at him from upon the desk. Anakin lights his saber and cuts through the glass, entering the private office.
-----------------------------------------------
When Anakin arrives at the window of the private office, he can see only bodies and Fisto's head. He cuts through the glass and steps inside. Passing through the short corridor, he enters the Chancellors public office, where Palpatine duels with Master Windu.
Anakin stands by and watches the duel in the shadows.
The battling Mace cuts a hole in the window of the office, planning to push Sidious out, but that does not work initially. They fight again, slowly moving towards the window. They eventually end up outside the office, on the narrow ledge of the Republic Executive Office. The rain continues to fall.
After intense fighting, Mace cuts Palpatine's saber in half. The Sith suddenly turns and addresses Anakin who can now be seen in the office.
"You see? Didn't I warn you of the Jedi and their treason?" he says. Mace continues his stare at the Chancellor.
Suddenly, just when Mace is about to strike down and destroy the Sith, Palpatine unleashes his power and lightning strikes from his hand. His face ages dramaticially into an aged old man before the Jedi's eyes.
"FOOL!" he exclaims.
Mace blocks the lightning with his blade but this is a hard moment for both combatants as they both begin to call to Anakin. Anakin now stands at Mace's shoulder, unsure what to do: Sidious wants him to kill the traitor but the Jedi Master orders him to kill the Sith and fulfill his destiny as the Chosen One.
At last, Palpatine collapses and begs for mercy from Mace. Mace, however, does not accept it. He moves for a final blow and then...
"Wait!..." cries Anakin.
--------------------------------------------
"You're going to die in childbirth." Anakin Skywalker, Revenge of the Sith
"Rise, Lord Vader." Emperor Palpatine, Revenge of the Sith
(Some of the following dialogue came from a post on the Jedi Council Forums.)
"Wait!" cries Anakin, grabbing Mace's arm from delivering the final blow. "Don't kill him...you just can't kill him Master. "
"Yes I can," replies Mace, "I have to."
"You came to arrest him. He has to stand trial. "
"A trial would be a joke. He controls the courts. He controls the Senate."
"So are you going to kill all of them too?" asks Anakin. "Like he said you would?"
Mace yanks his arm free. "He's too dangerous to be left alive. If you could have taken Dooku alive, would you have?
Anakin stares at Mace, "That was different."
"You can explain the difference after he's dead," replies Mace sternly.
"I need him alive! I need him to save Padme!" says Anakin to a bewildered Mace.
But Mace just turns and is about to finish his final strike against The Sith when Anakin unleashes his anger and cuts off Mace's saber hand. Sidious suddenly jumps to his feet and unleashes Force lightning of immense power, lifting Mace up and throwing him out of the broken window to his death below.
Once Mace is killed, Anakin pledges his attachment to the Sith Order. Sidious gives him the title DARTH VADER and instructs him in his first mission... sterilization of the Jedi Temple.
--------------------------------------------
"Your time is over! The Sith rule the galaxy! Now and forever!" says Sidious.
Suddenly in Yoda's hand, a new creation is born. From the Jedi that had secretly bonded themselves together over the last millenia - a blade of light is formed.
"At an end your rule is, and not short enough it was, I must say," replies Yoda.
Then, from a hidden place within his robe, Sidious pulls back the cloth and a small weapon falls into his hand.
When the blades meet, it is more than Yoda against Palpatine, more the millennia of Sith against the legions of Jedi; it is the expression of the fundamental conflict of the universe itself.
Light against dark.
--------------------------------------------
On the Tantive IV, Senator Organa calls upon the captain of his starship, Captain Antilles. With the Senator is Threepio and Artoo.
"I'm placing these droids in your care," instructs Bail. "Have them cleaned, polished and refitted with the best of everything; they will belong to my new daughter."
The captain ushers the two droids away.
"How lovely!" exclaims Threepio to Artoo, walking down the corridor. "His daughter is the child of Master Anakin and Senator Amidala. I can hardly wait to tell her all about her parents! I'm sure she will be very proud-"
Suddenly, Bail turns and says, "Oh, and the protocol droid? Have its mind wiped."
The captain salutes.
"Oh," says C-3PO. "Oh, dear."

The Force.net's "Just Facts" page, has Pablo Hidalgo (yes, him, the Dark One ) stating that the most often-quoted line on set is one spoken by Palpatine, which "is cool and will likely make many a person's email signature." I have a feeling that --
-- may be it."Your time is over! The Sith rule the galaxy! Now and forever!"
