I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

That depends entirely on what division the unit is from and what kind it is. There have been divisions that at full strength ranges from 4,500-30,000 plus me. 9000-15000 is the usually range though. A corps is a composition of two or more divisions, usually with some add on battalions and brigades. Though in some organizations a corps is several brigades group together.
If you name something more specific, like a modern US Armored division, this would be much simpler.

It's a too much broad subject, it depends on the period (armies will change the number of people during conflict), nation (different nations, different doctrines), arm (infantry has more men than, say, armour)... It's simply too vast.
(You could start with 15000 men per division and work from then.)
Could you be more specific?

I missed that. Still need a country and a year or at least general timeframe. Otherwise the range is 1500-29,000 for division and about 5000-125,000 for corps.Ted wrote:He said WWI
