Played the demo - its HELLA fun.

Interrogating the dude utilising a rhinoceros - golden Frank Castle award to teh devs for that. I feel it may get repetitive, but hey - it will be soooooooo much fun in the mean time.

Yeah the Rhino was cool, but my favorite will always be the Wood Chipper, the Pirhana and Electric Eel tanks were a nice touch to.

I have it. It's fun. Some cool cameos too.

There are some annoyances. One, the fade to black and white thing for gruesome deaths. Seriously that type of censorship for the freaking Punisher just blows. He's supposed to be over the top. I want to see messy deaths in full color. Two, I lose points for killing the people after interrogating them? That just sucks.

I played the demo and thought it was average. The controls and the camera were a bit sucky and over all it felt like a cheap Max Payne knockoff.

If the full game has improved on this then i might consider buying it.

Don't kill them in interrogation!

Just interrogate them press a to pull them back up and the press x to kill and gain score!

Of course. The problem is that I want to kill them during interrogation after they crack. The only times I don't is if they want to do something for me, ie weapons or leading me somewhere.

I shouldn't have to lose points for killing scum in interesting ways.

It's a flaw, the point deduction should really only be if you kill them during an interrogation BEFORE they break. If that was fixed it would solve the problem completely.

The second, that was already dealt with. And the first, well, it got an AO rating at first for the gore. The patch was also mentioned though.

As for the game itself. Get it. Get it now. Disregard my immense bias, best seen in the almost complete Punisher collection I have, and the avatar I've had for over half a year. On second thought, consider the bias when I say that this is The Punisher like in the MAX comics run (like he always should have been), albeit a tad toned down. This game is pure gold. I played it a second time just to find the other ways Garth Ennis thought of killing people. Try to get the one where you snap their neck with a door. Its hard to find, but the crack sound is well worth it.

That website, by the way, is HILARIOUS. I just got done reading their 'Legal Threats' section, and my sides are still sore...

Is there any stealth or sniper play in it, like Hitman? Any traps to set, or sticky mines that blow up when someone gets close?

Stealth is a bitch, but you can pull it off. Though its way more fun to jump in from the ceiling and reduce everything to random chunks. You can snipe, though as for mines, the answer is no.
