Oh, get over it.
Anime has made this world soft. There is no ph33r left in Japan. They now play 'dating sims' and watch shows with names like 'Oh! My Goddess'
As opposed to, what? Superfriends? Oh yeah, that's quality TV right there. How about pulling your head out of your ass and stop making snap decisions about something which you have little to no clue about?
I do NOT want to see the same form of art which is regularly used to depict porno games used to depict good old American asskickers.
Oh, as opposed to the underground smut comics of the 60's and 70's that depicted good old American asskickers getting some tail instead of kicking it? American comics and animation got fucking neutered in the 50's, and they're still recovering from the stigma of being "just for kids".

Anime = Animation, that's it. The art style commonly found in anime is no different in scope than the art style commonly found in American animation. So I guess you're against American illustrations as well? After all, you must have read Heavy Metal magazines at some point, or maybe seen American Cartoon porn stylized after fucking ARCHIE comics.
Anime adaption of Spiderman will be met with pain.
Go ahead and bitch then, it's already been done.
Anime adaption of the Hulk will be met with death.
Dunno about this one. They do have X-men, I believe.
Anime adaption of The Punisher will be met with a full-scale invasion.
Eh, good luck invading Japan, sparky. Let me know if you survive the trip on your little boat past Hawaii, okay?
You have been warned.

It was a joke, people, lay off. I like anime. I often watch anime. If I didn't, I wouldn't be bitching at half the board about NGE, now would i?

'Soft' was merely part of what I thought was a semi-humorous comparison between 'dating sims' and Quake 3. Obviously, you didn't think it was funny. That's nice. Don't read it.

The reasoning behind that bitching only makes slightly more sense than your bitching here. In any event, I stand by my previous comments. Piss off. :P

Oh, please, forgive me master. I have forgotten that I need to look inside your mind to make the connections between that which you have posted and that which you ain't said jack shit about.

Meanwhile, what's the TOP SELLING game in America? That's right, the Sims. Talk about the ultimate in voyeurism...

Come to think of it, the bigger issue here is when Americans are bastardizing the Japanese Anime/Manga style with their typically poor attempts of 'art'. Have you seen american comic books recently? It's like cheap highschool-made doujinshi or something. that's what the artits get for only watching cheap anime porn, and never the quality stuff.

And I say you are judging stuff you don't know about. It's obvious from your posts, Cyril. Funny how evidence works, eh?

Get back on topic.

I had a chance to play the demo earlier. It looked great. The lack of a free sidestep really hurt it though. You can sidestep using the L button, but it only allows you to go in a circle. No seamless transitions between going sideways then forward, as in other first person games like Perfect Dark. Other than that, and the timed reset ( ), it was pretty good.

this will definately be another good one for the Mighty little Cube. I for one can't wait. With games like Rouge Leader, Starfox, Eternal Darkness, an Awsome RE remake, and Metroid, i'm glad i gave Nintendo a second chance( after all they are the only one left of the original big three) . Sega's gone, however i believe Sonic is in good hands. Long live the Game Cube and the Dreamcast.

Comes out next week...
I preordered Metroid Prime and Metroid Fusion a long time ago.
Samas Aran is a woman.
She sure is!
Forget the fusion suit, I want to see Ms Aran in Metroid Prime in her bikini!
She needs to come out of her suit in Prime! I really want to see her pretty face!
It's a shame that Samus is anime'd....
Are you talking about these?

You do realise that most of the Marvel Mangaverse stuff was done by Americans? (a few Brits may have sneaked in)

well for a short time Atari was the third. But the Jaguar was too expensive and also due to other things( the kind of things star trek is going through cough 'B&B' cough) Atari sailed into oblivion. However it wasn't before some great games for the Jaguar made the Jag a niche icon. Also Atari created what is still one of the most advanced Handhelds, the Mighty Lynx. One of the games on the Lynx is considered impossible to do on the GBA; Blue Lightning.
