I have a severe hatred towards religious fundies, it has something to do with a summer job where I was surrounded by bible preaching assholes. I use to be neutral to religion, but after that summer I have a mild dislike for all forms of religion.

Virtual tough guys, posers, and superstars. People who act all tough, talk big, or brag about their superstar powers on the internet or behind my back. I've had it with these back-stabbing shits and I'm not above beating some sense into them in real life when possible. Watching them pee their pants when confronted is priceless.

It wasn't directed to you Ver . I know this subject could raise some peoples hackles, but if peoples prejudeces are out in the open it makes it easyer to understand that person. Honesty for most situations is the best policy IMHO.

I have no doubt, just speaking on a subject (japanese) that I know a *little* bit about. Haven't been exposed to native language at all, so I will take your word for it.

Aw man, having spent nearly a fourth of my life speaking Japanese, I can tell you I've heard some serrious mangling of that language. It almost makes my ears to hear those damn sing-songy American slow sentences totally ignoring lengthened vowels, skips, chiisaii ya, yu and yo that nobody seems to keep straight, and *especially* their butchering of the 'r' sound. It's not an 'R', it's not an 'L', deal with it. And stop using fansubs as a speach-pattern model; they're talking like 14-year old girls(end rant).

Anyway, besides having a reasonable dislike for people who don't concede they're wrong and people who make a hasty generalization of things they don't like/aren't used to just so they don't have to face it again, I'm not sure if I have a negative predjudice. I'll have to think about it some more.

Depending on my mood and how annoying they are, my responses go anywhere from "I'm sorry, I don't understand Chinese", to "Speak fucking English damnit! I don't fucking undertand what the hell you're saying!", or worse. There's a difference between not liking people that possess certain qualities, and assuming someone has those qualities simply because of their ethnic, social, cultural, religious background.

You know the part about you not liking "Ultra" left/right wingers? Many people don't like other people who make judgements based on superficial observations and associations. These types of people lack a certain moral development that I find hard to deal and relate with.

While someone might say "Those damn pakies that moved next door are probably terrorists." (I've heard this).... I really can't relate to that feeling, its alien. Its a response to a base instinct; fear of something unknown, something a dog/cat does.

No, you can't be taught right from wrong -- most people know the difference already. But you can be told, over and over again, that certain things don't really hurt people, or that it's okay to hurt people if it helps them in some way, or any number of other excuses to kill your conscience and do whatever gets you ahead.
