Looks interesting. Now, I could get started on a minifig-scale DSII if I could only secure an area around the size of Rhode Island for building it.

WTF is this? That is possibly the worst design for a military vehicle I've seen in Sci-Fi. Is the Republic outsourcing walker design to the Federation now?

Looks like a light AT-ST to me.

AT-PT, Kendall. Production had been outsourced to North Korea, if that explains it.

Overall, MUST BUY DEATH STAR!!!

No the AT-PT is a fully enclosed machine, this one leaves the driver exposed. Which is what irked me.

SPOILER:

It's the AT-RT, All Terrain Reconnasice (sp) walker. In the movie the trooper atop wears heavier armor for extra protection; it's been described as a "speeder with legs."
It's a strange world. Let's keep it that way.

Really? I'm sure it was open-topped...

This is an AT-RT and it´s drawbacks have been discussed over and over again in the spoiler-thread. It´s essentially a kind of AT-PT stripped down to it´s bare essentials.

And we actually get a Juggernaut! Complete with observation tower.

Too bad they persist in calling it a "turbo tank".

Ahh, I try and avoid the spoiler thread. I want to be a little surprised. None the less, when this thing trots out, I will be doing this:

You know, I'm avoiding anything remotely resembling a spoiler for ROTS like the plague. So far I've inadvertantly learned that there's going to be a battle of Coruscant, and now single seater walkin' buggies.

Also, I've actively searched for and found a certain screencap of a sweaty, shirtless proto-Vader, but that's to be expected.

Be that as it may, on-topic; I really wish they'd produce a real model of the DSII. :(

We could use a new ISD kit, in-scale with an Executor kit, as well.

I think we found a fair match for the Matrix APU

Discussed that as well on the spoiler-thread. :P

Thing is, it´s a All Terrain Recon Transport (reconnaissance and infantry support), not a frontline vehicle like the APU.
