You know, with all these folks screaming down on pirate fleets, I'm sure it would be a horrible wakeup call to find yourself staring at a Psychopath and it's escorts conducting business....

Although they predate me by a good deal, they're...terrifying. The Black Alliance engaged some early-game, so glance back through the first several pages for a glance. I'd say more, but it'd spoil the terror.

I'll remember that. Though to be honest I can't really see that happening, the Klingon Empire is a third or fourth rate power that wouldn't even be worth the UTRs time if it wasn't for the fact that they happened to sit on on the UTRs front porch so to speak.Pablo Sanchez wrote:Yeah, well, the Kzin are in a similar geographic area if you happen to run into trouble. Though if the Patriarch decides his military could use some live fire excercises feel free to join in whenever you want. Just make sure they identify themselves before crossing the border, I don't want my blockade forces to make a stupid mistake.

Yes, yes it would. This is why we verified our targets before attacking. It's ironic. yeah about that. well you see heres what happened. you diplomats came, we discussed, we agreed on peace. we would build an embassy but i saw no need for you to leave your diplomatic vessel here. its not as if it was going to do anything other than be confiscated in the case of an emergency where all vessels would be siezed by the government. so we thought you might want to keep it so we sent it back to your fleet. the thing about another diplomat is in case you want to fire this one or simply change out the 10 marines you brought with it the first time. but dont worry if your want your diplomatic corp off our planet at any time, simply ask for a ANN vessel, im sure we can send a corvette to get you outAgent Fisher wrote:Cabwi, could you sum that post up for me. Do you mean for me to send another diplomat? Because, the full staff for an embassy was on that vessel. Along with all my equipment and marines for guard duty. And the ship was to stay there.

"Welcome, Mr. Ambassador, welcome to the 13 Republics. A little note- your pri vate craft, well, you can't have it. If you did have it, we'd just confiscate it (an act of war!) in any time of emergency. Care for some caviar?"

Well, actually, I'm currently spread out on a grand total of 4 fronts due to treaty obligations, so nope, not looking for any cassus belli yet...consequences wrote:

Asides, Consequences, you may recall from STGOD 4 my standard method of attaining Cassus Belli. It's way messier.

It had way more than ten marines. Those were the first down the ramp. And no way am I leaving my people on your planet with the only way out is through you. The ship stays. And I want land big enough to hold my embassy, living quaters, and area for my ship.Cabwi Desco wrote:yeah about that. well you see heres what happened. you diplomats came, we discussed, we agreed on peace. we would build an embassy but i saw no need for you to leave your diplomatic vessel here. its not as if it was going to do anything other than be confiscated in the case of an emergency where all vessels would be siezed by the government. so we thought you might want to keep it so we sent it back to your fleet. the thing about another diplomat is in case you want to fire this one or simply change out the 10 marines you brought with it the first time. but dont worry if your want your diplomatic corp off our planet at any time, simply ask for a ANN vessel, im sure we can send a corvette to get you outAgent Fisher wrote:Cabwi, could you sum that post up for me. Correction, he bombed himself so his own space station crashed into one of his occupied cities. Which really should have struck people as fishy at the time, if the station was a loss, and it took as long as it did to fall, it should have been possible to nuke the thing if he really gave a shit about the civilians that got toasted. Man, we were some unthinking gullible losers.frigidmagi wrote:For those who don't know. He bombed himself. Which should have been even more reason to blow up the station if it was unsalvageable. Ah well, spilt milk under the bridge and all that.
So do you have to be anywhere near the Galactic East to join the ERTC?
