ah wonderful. thanks again. And one last quick question. who here has a distinct hatred of me and why? i just keep getting negative vibes from the powers...

Thirdfain are you gonna finish up speaking with my ambassador on Morevonia, or have you just let that one go into the wind? i realize you might have more important things in the STGOD but im kinda sitting out here with little or nil to do except ramp up my fleets.
same goes for you agent fischer, your diplomats have been sitting on that platform for a while and your embassy is finished.

to anyone who cares. I'm looking for trade alliances now, as i've recently come into a stash of raw materials and i am willing to trade them for technological upgrades.

We finished talking. We agreed to an exchange of ambassadors and embassy land, I figure that's that.

No interest in a formall trade alliance right now, but of course, opening diplomatic relations had having a consulate on your homeworld makes you a far more inviting destination for Commonwealth merchantmen.

If the UTR chooses the "Let the Kzin break shit up" option in this conflict, there will certainly be installed a puppet government over the Gorn which will repudiate any and all foreign debts. The Kzin hate you. They hate everybody except the other Entente powers and the TSC. More specifically, the Kzin like the SKS a lot (maybe even a little too much), they are warm towards the UTR, and fairly neutral towards the Corporate Sector. The Kzin regard the TSC with contempt, but don't really hate them. Everybody else is on their shit-list (especially the Corsairs!), mainly because the Kzin are mean-spirited and really not very smart.

Isn't the UTR and Gorn space... on the opposite side o the galaxy, compared to your territory, Dahak? I think that'd be a little like asking India and Pakistan not to take the fight into US territory... it won't be a problem

Unlike our noble allies the Kzin, the UTR does not hate you. They just don't care about you, at all.

Though you'll probably find independent Terran traders all throughout the galaxy, and I'm sure some of them would be willing to do business with you. Just don't expect the government to offer any treaties or to even recognize your right to exist.

No, actually. Because the Western Rim Trade Route does not pass anywhere near you, and already has a major alliance sitting on it (the one built around Blue Pointe Station.) There are no Commonwealth colonies along that area.

You have the option of making a route to BPS, either through Sabai or Vigoran space (of course you'll have to get lots of permission and stuff for THAT) or make an ever longer route to BSP. That would take serious time and or resources of course...
