looks like a game I used to play where you could start in either 1939 Germany, or 1942 January (USA) and participate in unlimited sub warfare...
it was fun...
not too realistic as I sunk 4 carriers in one mission during my stint as germany.... (mind you that was mostly because I was armed with mines at the time...)

Got SH1 to run under Windows 2000 with the help of this

DOSBox works, but it's worthless when you're running at 2048x time compression through areas where nothing is happening

that strikes me as very close looking to Aces of the Deep. cept aces of the deep was much harder IMO, they wouldnt let me have all the torps i wanted to use, just this one...
