Of course we have to decide where we are, get the background politics on who the prince of the city is...or whether its a Sabbat held city, etc. We just can;t jump in and decide that hey we're licks and we are so cool. Vampire needs a good background to it. We need to know what landscape we're iunteracting with.

Those who want to play, PM me with character ideas. I was thinking of using a big city, current time. If anyone has a location you'd prefer, let me know. Once we get this all settled, I'll write up a background of the city and post it somewhere... any thoughts on where we should play? Here would not be optimal. OT tends to get many different thread posts a day. Maybe FF?

As Lord of the Fanfic I grant permission to have this running in my realm. IN essence it sort of is a fanfic anyway. I think that's great Kelly. I think I'll use my charcter that I posted earlier, I'll PM you later withvthe relevant details such as generation, etc. (Gotta dig out his character sheet)

Fanfiction forum. It's argueably a story and stravo can use his iron fisted mod powers to keep it all in line.

Either way, just as long as it doesn't degenerate into TGODing. TGOD = spam. What I basically mean is story RP. VtM is basically story RPing, a lot like D&D. However, there is a such thing as FanFic RPing, which can be totally off-base of the real story, or holds closely to canon. It all depends on the preference of the players.

Many MANY years ago (or so it seems) I used to play Louis on an Anne Rice-vampire RPG on Prodigy.

Can I be completely unimaginative and simply be Barnabas Collins from Dark Shadows? I think I love his story the best of any vampire in history.

Ok, Just as long as you use a partial WW type character (see link above) and send me the info on said character. I don't care how old you are, just nothing below 5th gen. We're going to be in New Orleans, current day. I will be writing up a little bit about the city soon and post it in FF. Keep an eye out for it.
