Mothers who have jobs outside the home and who make snide remarks to my wife like "oh, you don't work?" or "so what do you do during the day?"

A big, hearty FUCK OFF to all of those bitches. My wife works harder than any of them, and deep down, they know it.

--Not that it is any of my business and don't answer if it is too much of an intrusion, but I would like to know what a person that has no job (paying job or school) can actually get done these days. My mother says her mother would literally spend all day cleaning the house nearly everyday. However, with all the technological advances there just isn't time these days.

They don't give you any rest. It's low-level work but it is constant, and in the younger ages, it's nearly 24 hours a day. You can't perform any task which takes your full attention for more than a few minutes at a time, because then you can't supervise them. If you supervise them constantly, they won't hurt themselves or each other and they will be engaged in constructive activities, but you won't get anything done. Catch-22. And it's psychologically exhausting.

--Well I know I hated daycare and can appreciate the sacrafice. What do you think of rotating child care during the week between say 3-5 different parents?
--I'm currently of the opinion that public school (in the U.S.A. anyhow) is a complete waste of time until university. Are you of the same mind or is there another solution (Catholic school isn't much better and they hated me anyhow).

I definitely have more respect for parents after working as a camp counselor this summer. Between 6 and 30 kids, usually from 8am-6pm, and one autistic and one EMH. I don't think I was able to stay awake past 8pm that whole 7 weeks.

Those children are speaking false religion. They have no idea what the Pagan religion is. Just ignore them or tell them to go to their local bookstore and get a real book to learn about the religion.

Another thing I am prejudiced against: polotically correct scolds who automatically assume that absolutely, positively 100% of everything that the United States does is irredeemably evil. They automatically stick up for every despotic tyrant regime, make excuses for shits like the Taliban and other craphounds in the world.

Of course, none of these jerkoffs will actually go to live in places like North Korea, Iraq, whatever. Oh, no-- they want to stay in the US and sip cappucinos and drive their minivans or SUVs and wear their fashionable clothes-- but it amazes me how the people that once circulated internet petitions about the Taliban's treatment of women and others (people who once demanded that the US 'do something' about it) suddenly start screeching from the rooftops about how the tyrannical US is bombing the Taliban, who 'only want to defend their culture'.

Wow. I think I read every single post in this thread, and I didn't see anyone say anything against fat people. Judging from some comments in past threads (like the airplane seat thread) and the fact that most cultures have been poisoned by Hollywood, Playboy, supermodels, etc, I find it hard to believe that no one is prejudiced against the overweight, especially you guys to women.

I mean people suddenly became scared for their lives.(Of what?!...oh wait I forgot if a kid in DC dies by a drive by that's par for DC but a death in surburbia now that rates)

And then the media bringing up all this shit as if suddenly these people deaths got more and more special. Seriously I watched as reporters claim this such and such death was the most tragic to date. I was think I'm sure the six kids who'll never see their father again are truly feeling that way about this woman. All death is tragic...they don't trate on how bad it gets...oi.

And then of course we had round the clock coverage...basically a moron going..."well we know found he's using this caliber of weaponry...and MAY...that's right MAY be using vehicular transportation."

Seriously I usually am disgusted by the media...but seriously this was literally something local blew up national dram because it was surburbia, and not downtown DC...and that sickens me.
