Nope. And I'm still thinking of a punishment and it has been years. I can hold a grudge for a very very long time. Mu hahahahaha. Note, the only redeeming "quality" of Dungeons and Dragons is that Zoe McLellan is really cute.Kosh_The_Vorlon wrote:Unless, of course, he happens to a certain Spacebattler...Tell me, is this friend Australian?Darth Wong wrote:No, go for the most extreme punishment. espically Star trek generations I once had met a rather rabid trekkie, so I have developed a rather strong hatred of the crap called generations.Battlefield Earth

Except about four thousand pages longer than it needed to be (yes, that's exaggeration, but not that much).jegs2 wrote:Very good book --- very lousy movie...Vertigo1 wrote:Lets see....

Why isn’t that ever an issue of politics? Because you don’t live in a democracy. You live in a plutocracy. Money rules.

I'll have to agree with you there. Ridley Scott's directing was on point, the action sequences were good, but it seemed like a Slightly dumbed down Roman version of Braveheart (which I love),e ven though I only saw half of the movie. But usually when a movie is halfway through, I can still like it and pay close attention to it. I saw half of Braveheart and loved it. But when I tuned into Gladiator, It captured my interest at first but, I ended up not really paying attention, maybe b/c it was the ABC tv version, But I was really dissappointed.Frank Hipper wrote:I wouldn't say that it sucked, but it sure as hell wasn`t all that.Darth Wong wrote:You think "Gladiator" sucks? Mallrats (Kevin Smith, what the HELL were you thinking)
Batman & Robin (no one recommended this, but no bad movie list would be complete without it)
Army of Darkness.....
...just kidding, 'twould be blasphemy to disparage the greatest movie of all time.

I didn't quite find "A Beautiful Mind" to be a bad movie, but... having seen it, I can safely say that LotR was robbed.

Blair Witch Project was complete and utter trash, and probably one of the most overrated movies of. I don't have a problem with the movie trying anything different, and I'm also tired of the standard horror movie formula of more gore = scary. The thing is that this movie just plain sucked. There was no plot beyond "kids lost in the woods", the "acting" was nonexistant (Fuck you! No, Fuck YOU! What the fuck?! Fuck it! for about five or ten minutes straight), the characters were more moronic and unlikable than most in other horror films, and there was absolutely NOTHING scary in that movie. There's a difference between scaring people with what they don't see and not showing anything at all. I mean, at what point was I supposed to be scared? When the Blair Witch (or whoever or whatever was stalking the kids, the movie never explains and I don't care to watch its crappy sequel to find out) leaves a bunch of cheap arts and crafts hanging from the trees? When the characters claimed to hear things while sitting in their tent?
Despite this, lots of people couldn't stop praising this piece of crap. There was a big backlash against big budget blockbusters back in 1999, after Godzilla (a flawed movie, but it wasn't THAT bad) flopped the previous year and TPM came out below expectations, causing people to give this movie a lot of undeserved credit just because of its low budget. Lots of other people praised this film, either to sound smart for liking a film that didn't stick to the usual Hollywood formula, or were just too easily scared (my English teacher said she couldn't sleep well for weeks after seeing this).
