Mouse support was included in early development releases of Starlancer if I recall correctly but was scrapped in the final build, It is possible to fly using the keyboard and win. Difficult but not impossible if blind fire capability is used.I tried playing it yesterday. Nearly impossible to play without a joystick, in my opinion. Would've been nice if you could control ship movement with the mouse, like in Freelancer.
I have to tell you something everything I wrote above is a lie.
Hey, nobody liked that 'movable base' idea anyway! And motorcycles and razor-armed alien tanks are t3h kewlz0r! And everything being orange makes it look like CYBERTRON! And having a build tree allowing you to build 'mortar bikes' before it allows you to build 'mortars' is clever and adds depth! And having units cost $5 more after changes, even if you stripped all the guns out adds flexibility!Vympel wrote: That game kicked ass. Too bad the sequel sucked ass.

BZ2 was amusing in multi, but not as anything more than a deathmatch game.
