LOL. This is worth viewing on the basis of the excellent illustration alone.

That is funny.
By the pricking of my thumb,
Something wicked this way comes.

Yes, it is funny, until you realize how truly WARPED these people are!! I copied the summary, but the intro before the "review" was classic too. Read (or at least skim) this crap.....
IN SUMMARY

The truth of the Satanic nature of Harry Potter can be easily seen in so many ways by some one who is familiar with the occult. In this book, we see standard occultic beliefs and practices and Illuminist beliefs. We see Drug Usage glorified, and creation of powerful drugs taught to these First-Year students.

We see standard Witchcraft philosophy and world view espoused, including the "morality" teaching that there is no Absolute Right or Wrong, that the "Ends Justify The Means". We see that the occult belief about Death and Reincarnation is taught.

But, most horribly, we see depictions of Satanism that are truly End of the Age. We see the symbol of Antichrist, the Unicorn. We see the evil Voldemort drinking the blood of the Unicorn. Not only is drinking of blood forbidden in Scripture, but Satanists do it consistently. Further, as we explain, this drinking of the blood of the unicorn delivers a very strong message as to how the people will relate ultimately to Antichrist.

Lastly, the achievement of Eternal Life -- drinking the Elixir of Life -- is firmly and directly tied to the number, '666'!

Truly, Harry Potter is Satanic to the core, so much so I cannot believe Christian ministries that falsely assured parents that Potter is all right for their children to read have actually ever read the book!

Truly, the Bible is so correct when it says: 'blah blah blah......'

WHAT?!?!?!! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH! HP IS GETTING LITTLE KIDS TO READ 400-PAGE-BOOKS!! WTF IS WRONG WITH THAT?!!!!!

Sorry. Had to vent about that.

And magic is real and all the little kids with little self control are reading HP and learning magic and casting spells. That's why there are so many reports of fireballs and flying and such. Oh wait, there isn't. Stupid git.

Oh, it's the Schnoeblan guy, the ex-high priest of fifteen religions, former vampire, retired black magician, and opera singer.

Fundies think everything that doesn't shove Jesus down your throat is evil. And they use some of the most illogic arguments to prove it.

Yes. In their universe even the bad guy has to be good. Heck, if you look at the Bible then the bad guy should technically let people do what they want and the good guy should kill everyone. No wonder they're so fucked up.

Bah. The same one who says that D&D teaches real magic. Guy's nuttier than a fruitcake and about twice as dense.

Speaking of D&D, Gary Gygax lives in my town, and I went to school with his son Alex. I went to Gary Gygax's chess club for awhile too.

I suppose I should also mention Troy Denning lives in my town too, but I've never seen him around. I only know it because the lady from the local bookstore knows it.

hmmm, Satanists drink unicorn blood? I thought they missed the ark when the animals were boarding two by two. I want to be a satanist if they have unicorns!!
I do agree though that they are taking this book of imagination way too far. They are reading too far into it and might as well just burn their own eyes out because they can't censor everything.

As long as more kids and more people as a result read books, I'm happy.

I plan to take some time being a novelist in the future

I think you're taking it a wee bit too far. The second sentence says (removing the preposition?) "drinking of blood is forbidden in Scripture, but Satanists do it consistently." That doesn't necessarily have to be unicorn's blood, but any blood. (And if you were joking, I'm sorry, didn't see a  after it).

FYI:

It is currently 4:21am here in MD, and I have just gotten home from seeing Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (it started at 12:01am at a theatre about an hour from my house) and it was EXCELLENT! Made me laugh heaps. AND there was tons of stuff that these psycho-Christians will be able to complain about, which made it all the more enjoyable for me. So, rah--go out and see it because it was wonderful!

*laughs to self* Watch this post somehow end up in the "movies people have recommended that SUCK" thread....

Back to Harry Potter and reference to that quote. They promote drug use just about as much as the bible supports drinking. Harry Potter is adorable and I am going to go see it tomorrow.
