General Grevious

Post by Coriolis »

This is probably a very newbish question, but is General Grevious a robot or just part robot? If he's part robot, how was he formed?

Grievous is 90% cybernetic and 10% organic, with only his cranium and nervous system remaining intact.

He was given a cyborg body after almost being killed when a bomb was planted in his starfighter.

Ah...thanks. That explains a lot. I'm assuming he was called General Grevious before the incident.

His name at the least was "Grievous." I don't know what rank he had before joining the Confederacy.

His eyes and intestinals also seem to be functioning. The latter are kept in tanks inside his chest. Grievous is said to have been a lizard alien before his "accident".

This may be a slight derail of the thread, but since it was about Grievous:

Finally found a second scene with him in the trailer. Red arrow indicates him, green arrows his guards. He looks really distinct with that hunchback position, not at all like the Vader-clone many feared him to be.

Is it possible that Obi-Wan was fighting one of them? The second from the left (the bodyguards) is coming up from a courch.
