a Human vs a Nemodian
who would win if we took typical human and a typical Nemodian into dueling ring with out weapons or armor.
the combatant are told only one of them can leave the ring and he must kill the other one first and if they refuse to fight both are killed.)

That's is why asked it as typical Nemodian is taller then a typical human, but look a bit fragile (unless that illusion created by clothes. they were as we never see what the body of a Nemodian look like (though we do know what the Body of a Duros looks like.)

that's why I drove the combatant into a proverbial wall (if the Nemodian want's get out alive he must fight).Cpl Kendall wrote:And they act like cowards.

Well I'm thinking if it's a coward then he probably wouldn't be much good at hand to hand combat.Lord Revan wrote:that's why I drove the combatant into a proverbial wall (if the Nemodian want's get out alive he must fight).

Nemodian culture seems to base around the "Trade Federation" and by their use of Droid armies. This indicates that the Nemodians do not fight as it would be bad for business to die and they are most likely weak naturally because of this.
Humans hands down.

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."
What if they were paid to do this...Soontir C'boath wrote:Nemodian culture seems to base around the "Trade Federation" and by their use of Droid armies. This indicates that the Nemodians do not fight as it would be bad for business to die and they are most likely weak naturally because of this.

I agree that the human would be favored, but keep in mind that the Nemodians we've seen have been older higher-ranking types. To be fair, you'd have to pit them against some 65-year old corporate CEO.
If Religion and Politics were characters on a soap opera, Religion would be the one that goes insane with jealousy over Politics' intimate relationship with Reality, and secretly murder Politics in the night, skin the corpse, and run around its apartment wearing the skin like a cape shouting "My votes now! Apparently their battledroids are modelled on their skeletons, like Terminators. Thus, I would conclude that their bone structure is fairly fraglile in comparison.
I'd suspect that they know how to look after themselves. Certainly they're probably more at home with killing competitors than the average human, they're just not willing to do so themselves unless they have to.Born as disgusting grubs, Neimoidian offspring are placed in communal hives and given access to limited food supplies. The grubs then compete for food, and many young die if they are too weak to fend for themselves. Once Neimoidians achieve the age of seven, they emerge from the hives, having learned to fear death and to hoard goods.

as said there's Nemodian warriors in EP3 but (spoilers)those are mainly recruited from criminals and other misfits and as such are typical Nemodians. It seem that Nemodian don't trust their droid anymore as these warrior act as personal guard of the viceroy (and are suicidal enough to say no to Gen Grievous)I'd suspect that they know how to look after themselves. I suppose it depends on the Neimoidian and the Human really. The Viceroy certainly was a bit cowardly, and his crew in Ep1 was cowering... but there were also a pair of Jedi who were at the time cutting their way through a blastdoor to get them. I'd be scared too.
Plus their use of droids isn't cowardice really... I'd use droids too if I had the tech. They don't require years of training and are much easier to replace in the even of being exploded. We know that the boys on Geonosis were pumping out soldierboys for them by the millions... why bother with Neimoidian troops?
Let's not fall into the StarTrek trap of all Neimoidians being the same, huh?

have you got something against the human race. Jar-Jar is not a typical Gungan and even he is more durable and stronger then a typical human.Kreshna Aryaguna Nurzaman wrote:Now, how about human vs gungan matchup?

I never thought of it before. Where Jar-Jar's extraordinary strength and/or durability was depicted? In which scene? Guess I have to watch TPM again....Lord Revan wrote:have you got something against the human race. I dare not to imagine how it would be like when it goes to sex. *shudders* Probably Nemoidians, considering their strength and durability are about equal as humans, would make a less intimidating sex partner?
EU does a good enough job of that.Gil Hamilton wrote:I suppose it depends on the Neimoidian and the Human really. SW: Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter wrote:Sidious stood motionless and silent on the transmission grid, his fingers steepled, his mind meditating on the eddies and currents of the Force. Those of lesser sensitivity were oblivious to it, but to him it was like an omnipresent mist, invisible but nonetheless tangible, that swirled and drifted constantly about him. No words, no descriptions could begin to convey what it was like; the only way to understand it was to experience it.
He had learned over long years of study and meditation how to interpret each and every vagary of its restless flow, no matter how slight. Even without that ability, however, he would have known that Nute Gunray was lying about Hath Monchar’s whereabouts. An old joke about the viceroy’s kind summed it up nicely:
How can you tell if a Neimoidian is lying?
His mouth is open.
