Didn't he loose his last one in AotC? If so, he could have built one in RotS, and another before ANH.
Anakin's ROTS saber is one Kenobi gives to Luke (or at least is meant to be the same).

I count four primary, two secondary, and six tertiary sublight engines on the Venator. And it's my guess the engine pods are exposed due to overheating concerns. Corrections?

The only Vader line I think doesn't fit is the handsome quote, sure he's being vain and sarcastic, but 4-5 remarks in a row? By that time I'd expect Vader to get impatient :P

One can assume he's killing them as he's saying it.

His last one got cut in half in the factory, the one he uses in ROTS is Luke's Episode IV/V sabre. A model of it is on the Master Replicas website- there are of course some minor differenes between the ROTS version and the ANH/TESB version, but they always did that, even in the PT. Either way, neither of his sabres looks like Obi-Wan's (that's both Obi-Wan/s TPM and AOTC sabres and his ROTS/ANH sabres).

A display of apparently all the ROTS action figures. See if you can spot Governor Tarkin.

There's one paticular type of Clonetrooper, in the front row, to the right of R2D2, that I can't identify and have never seen before. It's too bad the numbered index of who is who isn't available, I want to know the designations of the Republic soldiery.

There's another version of that pic here: +http://www.rebelscum.com/photo.asp?imag ... ad1234.jpg

The index list is on the right hand side in this version and the clonetrooper you pointed out is called "Commander Bacara"

He's not too hard to spot.

Weird seeing the old Republic guard next to the red Republic/Imperial guard. I don't see any other characters that were only in TPM or AotC.

The blue Senate guards are there to show the Emperor's assuming authority over them as well has his personal red Chancellory guards. Notice they have visors over their faces now, as opposed to TPM.

Interestingly, the same troops who "ride" the AT-RTs are called "Turbo Tank Drivers".

I´m fairly certain that trooper with the visor and the "skirt" (or whatever you call it) is an ARC Trooper. 8)

There´s two figures I don´recognize, however, the blue "goggle" alien with the lightning staff at the lower right, and the black droid thing with the red rocket-launcher arms, at the lower left (is it just me or does it have some weird, red alien thing for a head? :?).

Labelled as a "Clone Commander" on the list, actually. Maybe the ROTS:VD will give us more insight into that. If it doesn't have a whole section to the "new" Clonetroopers and all the subtypes, I'll be pissed off.
the blue "goggle" alien with the lightning staff at the lower right
Mustafar Sentry.
and the black droid thing with the red rocket-launcher arms, at the lower left
Destroyer Droid aka Droideka

Wow. Mustafar sentry, eh? Nice.

I´m sure they can take the time to describe the various troopers. If they could do so for the OT and the battledroids in TPM, they can do so for the troopers in ROTS as well.

Who's the guy with a tattoo on his right arm that looks like a Sith lord? And who's the guy at the far right, bottom shelf that looks like a fat Jedi with a helmet?

No, I believe it's "burnt Anakin". Probably a transforming character like the Palpatine toy?

No, the Separatists realise who he is the moment they get a good look, it's just Anakin in his dark cloak who kills the Separatsits. They think they're meeting Darth Sidious' new apprentice Sith Lord, remember? Well ... they are, but they didn't expect it to be a hero of the Republic.

scans from the visual dictionary:

http://www.rpf.invisionzone.com/index.p ... opic=83800

Looks like the Kashyyyk three-legged walker actually walks on two legs, and probably deploys the third for stability when immobile. Makes more sense than walking on three legs, at least.

EDIT: It also says that ARC-170 fighters have projectile as well as laser cannons. Wonder what this means?

It looks like it´s showing the middle and the right leg in that pic. Still three when walking.

And the ARC-170 has projectile cannons next to their big laser cannons. What kind of projectiles they fire I don´t know.

And I see the ARCs are definitely in this film. 8)

Nice to see that an explanation is given regarding Vader and the use of Force lightning.

I hope to hell I'm wrong with the impression that Artoo is completely CG in this movie.

Kenny Baker is there some of the time, but not as much as the others.

And I love all the CW connections in this book, they mention Hypori, Muunilinst, the Clone Commandos etc. 8)

There´s also a nice blurb on Palpatine. Apparantly he isn´t worried about any Jedi who might have survived Order 66, not even Yoda and Obi-Wan combined posed any threat. Ouch.

-Only two thirds of the original batch of clone troopers is still alive. But new ones grown from different templates are being produced on other planets.

-Jungle Camo armor :D

-As expected armor paint now signifies "legion affiliation"

-All Terrain Attack Pod?

-Only C-3PO receives a memory wipe.

-Apparently, they don't start training non-clone officers until after Palpatine declares himself Emperor. :?

I hope that we see some V-wing squadrons during the space battle. It may be more of a true fighter, while the ARC-170's design, with the tail gunner and all, seems to be more suited to ground attack and anti-capship missions.

It looks like another solid book. Hopefully this Probe Droid fellow will post some scans of the new ICS.

All Terrain Attack Pod?
They´re running out of names.

Just wait till they reach the transport on Felucia, All Terrain Versatile Truck. :P

I only know of their appearance at the end of the film.
