Qualinesti, the other elven nation (as opposed to Silvanesti)

here is the creative part of Cyan bloodbane's plan his shield drained life from the Qualinesti land and also protected him from Beryl, so he essanitally played his enemies off against each other.

Beryl the big green dragon was also killed, by elven archers, after Takkisis used a spell to aid them in holding her in place.

2 greens falling in one book, impressive

I think Beryl might have suffered more from the Dragonlance in her head than the archers

here is a thought don't you think most of the evil dragons were essantially used by the dark queen, who only really praised the red dragons, the others were often slaughtered in greater number but never recived any real respect from her.

it's a real bitch for the Blue dragons, who actually seem to hold any real loyalty to the dark queen ?

Assuming we leave Sauron and the Nazgul out of it, yeah, its a wash for the side with all the Dragons.

Now, if you want some evile fun...

Dragonarmies vs the Armies of Morgoth.

You know, Dragons with names like Ancalagon who wreck medium-sized mountains when they fall on them. Balrogs. So many Balrogs they have their own chain of command.

And yeah, a whole, whole lotta orcs.
If we include said dragons and Balrogs, including Gothmog, then the battle should be changed to include the forces of Angband. If that is the case, then Morgoth and not Sauron would be leading the evil armies of middle earth. So if it is Mordor then you can't include those dragons with exception of Smaug. Only one Balrog is alive at the time and Shelob isn't really under the control of Sauron....

My favorite evil dragons would also be the blues. I kinda did like the whites for a while but they are just stupid. Swift and agile, but they cant think on thier own.

not to mention that the white dragon overlord was a stupid, cruel and arrogant brute, made Malys seem nice.

I liked Khellandros best, he hates what he has become and what he has done...

And yeah, Takhisis has a real obsession with Reds, I mean, the list is endless. Furion, Crematia, Deathfyre, Tombfyre, Malystryx. (who BTW would get the SHIT kicked out of her by Furion....the most Badass Dragon in Krynn)

Or Arkan the first blue, who still never recived the respect of Takkisis, despite his nearly equal status, that is why I thought the blues got the worset deal. They fight nearly as often as the reds, but never got the same credit.

the Greens, blacks and whites don't fight that often anyways so they don't deserve the queen's praise on that level anyways.

Dont knock them, Cyan Bloodbane killed a red like it was a little bitch, and Khisanth was an extremely powerful Dragon.

but blacks and Greens tend to act in the more subersive roles anyway, while the reds and Blues gather for war.

I agree with star fury. You only see a single white, green, or black one time each in the chronicles. Yet you encounter armies of reds and blues.

Actually, wings were formed for all of the Chromatic Dragons IIRC in preparation for the War of the Lance, however I think in the case of the greens and whites, none turned up , and in the case of the Blacks iirc only around a dozen Dragons arrived, and they suffered losses in pre war skirmishes including the death of the Dragon Highlord in command of the Black Wing

One thing I thought was kinda, well, stupid was lord soth. He had all this power and he served kitiara. He could, with his forces of undead, pretty much rule Krynn.

Lets keep it going guys. What did you think of Fistandantilus? Pretty cool guy. But raislin is cooler. Plus he beat him. You would think that with all the time he lived, he would be so much stronger than raist. Raist only had a lifetime and he became much stronger. GOD HE IS COOL!

I doubt it, a sufficiently powerful mage would have been able to take Soth, cool as he was, hes outmatched by Mages, and certainly some of the Elder Dragons would have enough magical power to take him..

However, Soth is well able to cut a gigantic swathe through opposing armies...hell, he killed that dragon Tanis was riding with a bloody word!
