The Known Space weapon is the Variable Sword (to whoever asked).
My favourite is Eldar Witch Blades (I know they don't ignore armour, which is dumb considering they can turn armoured vehicles into sliced salami with ease).

Death's Sythe from the Anthony Peirs series "Incarnations of Imortatily" not only does it slice and dice like nobodys business but makes you the equivlant of Master fifth Dan thanks to built in enhacement magic that makes you better with it

The Sword of Discworld's Death. It is so sharp it can cut in half the unfortunate atoms who wander too near to its edge.

Lightsaber without a doubt.

Though some form of continuous fire anti matter cannon would work pretty well. You'd just need the power armor from hell to use it.

They might as well ignore armour....triple bloody strength!

And I think the point of them not ignoring armour may be that they are reliant on the skill and strenght of the psyker not just the blade.

BTW. why are people mentioning Lightsabers...last time I checked they dont cut through anything

Yeah, but is there anything that can really cut through everything? Lightsabers can pretty much, with enough force.

Hey, come on know, it's just because they're just about the most powerful beings in the galaxy. Though, I wonder what happens if they have an itch.

Talk to Necronlord for all the details. They're the commanders of the necrons in WH40K, if I remember right.

Energy beings that lead the Necron from wh40k (as already mentioned.) They can create black holes, travel anywhere in the galaxy, and mess with reality barriers.... only four are remain right know and a rather weak at the moment. Their weakness is warp energy.

I like Psi Blades- from Starcraft
then Lightsaber
then Shigawire from Dune
- Dark Templar's modified psi blade (Wrap Blade)
- some other regular shiny duriable blade that's reasonably crafted...
