hmm... it seems so though.... the skywalkers gave on their force powers, so does horn's family, or the katarns...

Luke and Leia being Force sensitive is due to Anakin's sheer power in the Force, since he was conceived by It.

and the others? han's and leia's kids were force sensitive as well... as are corran horn's

I always took that with a grain of salt, it struck me as far more likely that anikan’s father was some force sensitive slaver who had his fun with shimi and she just did not want to tell the truth about it, but that’s just mho.

Simply put if Force sensitivity was strictly genetic then the Jedi would have died out, due to not allowed to have children and such, and it wouldn't explain how different alien species all display this sensitivity.

It doesn't mean that Force sensitivity can't be passed down genetically from parents to children, it just means that it obviously isn't necessary.

I think that there's some genetic characterists that can make a person Force aware (same way a person, can get some illnesses more easially, but that doesn't mean that they will get those illnesses).
