Yeah, I saw it. Funny thing is, I didn´t realize what the wall paintings were all about until the very end. Then the Vader mask appeared and solidified it.
And yea, the chase is pretty cool, I loved how Shaak-Ti got rid of Grevious by tying his cape to the elevator thing, he could have whooped her ass in a duel, yet because he had to do his "You will leave this world, Jedi" speach, she got the drop on him... badguys are so dumb...
Lol! And it´s nice to see they made him look more like his ROTS-self in the last three chapters, more brownish and with a slightly different helmet. His eyes look creepier too, from 22 onwards the pupils are like tiny, black slits. He just looks meaner.

I laughed at the automatic ticket booths at the subway station. "Please deposit two Republic Credits" every time someone went through them. "Please..please..please desposit two..please depos..please..please deposit two Republic Credits"

Guess I´m easy to entertain.

Hmm, I wonder if the hangar system seen in CW chapter 23 is representative of the Venator-class Star Destroyers. It clearly emphazises the carrier role of these vessels.

Just finished Chapter 23.

Does anybody else wish sometimes for Obi-Wan to just shut the hell up?

Yeah, I don't care much for that story arc.

I found 24 somewhat lackluster after the first three. Anyone else get that feeling?

I dunno. I'm a sucker for space battles and the big engagement with the Venators and the like in the previous ep sort of spoiled me. Lightsaber fights are all well and good, but they just don't have the "WOO!" factor that space battles have for me.

Ah I gotcha. I'm equal opportunity for bad-ass scenery so it doesn't really bother me.

Just seen Chapter 25 and it's pretty good, not as good as Chapter 23 though. After Grevious got away with Palpatine though, and left Shaak-Ti alive, I just had one small question; Why the fuck is every Jedi to face Grevious an idiot except for Windu? Mace, is the only one with the common sense enough to say "hey, wait, I know how to hurt Grevious, he's metal, I'll just crush him with the Force!" instead of trying to fight him and getting owned with 4 arms, each weilding a saber.

Also, Anakin didn't fuck up like I though he would with the mutant Cat-Men things. I assumed he'd kill them and be all evil, but all he did really worng was to crush that Techno Union guy.

I think that one cone-headed Jedi Master in episode 20 tried to do it but Greivous somehow detected the attempt and managed to dodge out of the way just before the blast hit.

Yeah, they had tried it before, Grievous just stood still for long enough in ch. 25. Explains why he´ll sound the way he does in ROTS.

He wasn't only crushing the metal, he was squeezing the shit out of Grievous' organs, which are hidden beneath his Rib Armor.

Is lightsaber training and enhanced speed from his mechanical parts the only explanation for Grievous's ability to not only fight, but dominate numerous Jedi? In many previous Jedi vs. threads (like Jedi vs. Spider-Man), the consensus was that Jedi could easily win because precogntion > speed, and TK attacks were instant kills. Would Grievous's performance against the Jedi mean that we have to reconsider those debates?

The Clone Wars Cartoons? They are on the same level as most other EU material.

The debates aren't changed at all. Jedi are not invincible with precog, and something like Grievous going at them with up to 4 lightsabers is going to take its toll with or without precog. And if you'll notice, Mace did do heavy damage to Grievous with TK powers, so no, the debates aren't really changed -- if anything, the Clone Wars can give new powers the Jedi have (granted they could be see as over done, so I doubt the demonstrated powers would be used in standard debates).

The way Mace owned Grievous was an example of a Jedi using his powers intelligently, and it's a lot more like the accepted belief of how Jedi vs. battles would go. The problem is that it contradicts Grievous's performance in the rest of the Clone Wars shorts, as well as the books and comics. He's battled against 5+ Jedi simultaneously and won, and I believe his Jedi body count is past 10. Throughout all his other battles with the Jedi, the Jedi tried TK attacks and failed. They acted like idiots though. None of them erected Force walls to contain Grievous, and none of them ever tried to use TK on him when he couldn't see it coming, and thus dodge it. Grievous also acted in a contradictory way when he faced Mace, since he made no attempt to dodge. Do we have to accept that run of the mill Jedi (and even some highly experienced ones like Ki Adi Mundi) do a poor job of utilizing their abilities in battle, and that it's possible for an extremely fast and strong opponent to defeat them?

Well, he was inside his ship at the time. How would he have dodged?

[possible movie spoilers, maybe]Wasn't there something about Grievous and his other droids having force-dampening fields around them, severely weakining the effects of force powers? I seem to remember reading this in the spoilers thread, but I could be making it up. If it's actually real, it would explain why why only Windu could affect Grievous, since Windu's supposed to be one of the most powerful Jedi.[/spoilers maybe]

Why are you making it size 1, the threat title already says spoilers :P
I was under the impression that the ysalamiri had a monopoly on force dampening. Maybe he is just force senstive...? Though its hard to tell, according to the SWDatabank, he is a person... I think.

Yeah, but that's spoilers just for the cartoon, and the one I said would have been in the main spoiler thread, and well... yeah, silly, but when it comes to spoilers, better safe than sorry...

Grievous seems to have had a blood-transfer from a dead Jedi, augmented with Dark Side influence. He´s a manufactured Sith, if his origin comic in "Visionaries" is to be believed. So there´s at least some possibility for precog in him.

And to be fair, he had to get the Chancellor off the planet, jumping into another fight, could only give Mace the opportunity to disable the ship. Too bad he underestimated Mace´s TK.

Yep, the Jedi always have used their powers stupidly. It's not just the clone wars shorts.

Look at AOTC. Why didn't Obi-wan just rip the guns out of Jango's hands, tear his jetpack off, and arrest him at saber-point?

Jedi are bloody morons when it comes to using their power. Perhaps they are trained not to over-rely on the force (sorta like Mara tells Anakin Solo in NJO), and that training has gone to the point that they miss opportunities to end a fight using the force.

Or maybe since they're used to dueling opponents that block their abilities, they don't think to use them as much in a saber duel?
