Anyones IPOD lose most of its charge when off? +problems?

Post by Assassin X »

Ok i got the 20GIG IPOD and its only like 700 Sogs full and i got the backlight always off...etc.

So ive been having two problems for awhile now and i cant seem to find an answer:

1: My settings dont save anymore. Like i most of my settings save but some like turning the CLICKER off and STARRING a song dont save when i turn the IPOD back on to use again!

2. Whenever i turn off my IPOD, i press and hold PAUSE to turn it off, i set the little switch up top so it cant be turned on. Well anyways whe i go to use it again the battery thing is always like at the 15% mark! No matter how much i charge it the battery seems to go down really low most of the time when its off.

Do either of these problems happen to anyone else? Is my IPOD bsuted or defective?

First of all, it's "iPod", not "IPOD". It's not an acronym.

Secondly, I'd recommend wiping it and reinstalling the firmware. If problems persist, take it to an Apple Store, or call Apple about it. It should still be under warranty after 6 months.

In the manual it tells you to use the hold button to stop it coming off snooze. You can turn it 'offish' by holding the play button.

BAH! How can I be expected to read OPs when our LORD Jesus Christ lies in state? Or... something.
