"Either God wants to abolish evil, and cannot; or he can, but does not want to. ... If he wants to, but cannot, he is impotent. If he can, but does not want to, he is wicked. ... If, as they say, God can abolish evil, and God really wants to do it, why is there evil in the world?" -Epicurus

Nature does all things spontaneously, by herself, without the meddling of the gods. -Lucretius

I guess I'll have to buy it. Why didn't they rush to get it out by Christmas, the way that they rushed the series to get it out before B5?

Well I think the introduction of the Defiant is when DS9 started getting good. That introduced both the Defiant and the Dominion. It started a conflict and brought an air of combat into the series. Then season 4 and the Klingon war really got DS9 going.Stravo wrote:I'll gladly wait until the Dominion war arc is well under way before dropping a single penny on this. DS9 was just not worth owning until the war starts

You're right Alyeska. I would start with "The Search" and just buy up the seasons from there...about what season is that BTW?Alyeska wrote:Well I think the introduction of the Defiant is when DS9 started getting good. http://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/ has summaries of most of the episodes, but I'm too lazy to dig through them.
