In all seriousness though, what kind of woman is going to sit down without checking the seat first? Is it customary for women to stumble around without looking where they're going or what they're sitting on? If I sit on a chair that happens to have a large, very obvious pizza sitting on it, should I blame anyone but myself for the cheese and pepperoni stuck to my pants?

Haven't you ever gotten up in the middle of the night, stumbled into the bathroom and peed in the tub or missed the toilet completely?

I don't bitch about it, but I do ask politely. It also looks better with the seat down.
