Me too, although it's not so much the pain that I don't like, pain I can deal with, but one of my two debilitating phobias is injections. The piercings I could deal with, they were fine, just the idea of having some foreign thing injected into your body *shudder* don't like it.

Anyway, nice tat Zac. :)

Piercings don't inject something under your skin, they just go right through it and out the other side, tats inject something under your skin and it stays there, thats the bit that makes my skin crawl.

Looks good, man. What made you choose that one in particular?

mostly, its the one that caught my eye when i went in the shop. I wanted something sleek, and nothing excessive, basically it fit the bill.

Very nice.. Dragon Tribal. Looks like very good work from what I can see.

I think new tats look the best, because of the raised look the swelling gives them. When the swelling goes down, they lose that 3-D effect.

I'll ask here rather than starting a new thread.

The tatoo i want to get is a Katana with "Revenge" written along the blade. I want to get it on the inside of my forearm running from my elbow to just above my wrist. How bad would this hurt and how much would something like that cost?

Ahahah, I was looking around to see if I could find the kind of tribal tattoo I've thought about getting, but look what I found instead!

My God woman, be careful with those links. Do you want Durandal to spontaneously combust?

It's interesting that virtually everyone in this young generation has a tattoo. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a girl who has one of those lower-back tattoos nowadays (and the lowrider jeans/short T-shirt to let you see it). These things appear to be this decade's equivalent of corduroy pants.

It must be some kind of cultural thing, because I and an awful lot of guys my age get seriously turned on by those tattoos.

Me, I could never think of one I'd be sure I'd want ten years from now. About the only things I can be sure I'll be passionate about that far down the road are the Philadelphia Eagles and Villanova. I'm really not sure about getting a football team's logo (especially since they change every ten years or so unless they're the Raiders or the Browns), and as for Villanova, the $80,000 piece of paper on my living room wall is enough proof of my dedication.
