When did the Goa'ould leave Earth?

Post by Straha »

Ignoring such anomolies as Sokar taking the christians through the Antartic gate, when did the Goa'ould leave Earth?

I know that Egeria, the Tok'ra queen, was from Rome ~700 B.C. (she was a nymph who advised Numa, the second king of the Romans,) but aside from that there are all sorts of different dates bandied, and I was wondering if anyone had any solid idea when they actually left.

There was a season four episode feturing Dark ages style Christians, meaning that they could have been here less than 1000 years ago.

The episode "Demons" had Daniel Jackson saying it.
I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

I liked Sokar. Killing him sucked. But then again, having Apohpis take control of his forces didn't suck.

She could have gone there without any of the other system lords being there. The location of the Earth is well known to the snakeheads and a queen getting her hands on a ship like a Tel'tac is very posible.

Actually, I should notice that that was Daniel's theory; the legends of the locals, of fire coming from the sky, suggests, to me, a ship came.

If we go by the movie I'd say it was sometime around 10,000-8,000 years ago that the Stargate was buried.

If you go by the show, it was ~4,995 years ago.
