Do dampner feilds still exist, they did in 1st edition, basically it's like a dune holzman rip off, where it drains 90% of the kenentic force, won't stop things like energy attacks, and won't stop bolters or some HTH because they have their own propulsion/continous imputus backing them up.

They don't, at least not on a personal scale. There are some possibles on a major-base and starship scale.

There are refractor feilds are similar in that they scatter the energy and projectiles.

I think you are lifting them from somewhere else YB. They aren't in Rogue Trader. Of course, we can just wave our hands and say that is a variation of a refractor field and not sweat it.

That totally cracked me up in the middle of one of those calls. Vintage stuff. The ironic twist on 'Fortunately, the enemy is doing a good job of destroying our armor' was great.

OMAC old DC series about a genetically engineered super soldier. The initals stand for One Man Army Corps because that was how powerful he was.

Typh, you're in a vault. Think of it as big chamber in a bee hive or in a D&D dungeon. Their artillery (what's left of it) is on the other side of a bunch of long tunnels leading from the blown open part of the hive to this vault. The enemy has humped some heavy weapons here, but no artillery. And their is no Administorium building. Every building in the vault is given over to industrial processes. The Imperial bureaucracy had their own spires (now destroyed).
