It also looks like the wrist manacles on Vader's operating table can move up and down. Too bad the lowered position isn't how he appears when the table tilts upward. Arms-up looks terrible, in my opinion.

Sadly the one showing ol Palp's next to him, is better picture then the teaser one. Don't why they had the two positions.

The arms up just does not convey the right look...especially since it really makes him looking like he had tiny girlie wrists.

I get the distinct impression that they monitored the unfavourable fan reaction to Vader's pose and quickly changed it.

I'd wondered if it was some last-minute postproduction change, although as I said, the table does look like the manacles can shift position.

*looks at image slowly burning in the Ash Pile*

Daaamn, thats F***ed up! I mean, damn, he looks so, creepy, just sitting, slooowwwly being roasted alive... No wonder Vader turned into such a Bastard!

EDIT: just caught something else... in the pic of Vader next to the Empier, anyone catch the fact hes wearing his Cape? I mean, He's JUST off the table and he has the cape on? That means the droids, while remaking him, had to have added the cape During the operation! Was it that big a deal? Could his cape actually have some mysterious LifeSaving properties that he had to have it instaled so soon?

In the photo where Anakin and Obi Wan are clashing lightsabers, doesn't Anakin look a bit overweight?

I have to retract my statement re: Vader´s injuries, didn´t see where the biological limbs ended and the robotic limbs began. Now I see that he´s missing one arm and both legs (though he seems to be intact down to the knees).

MF.com has a thread showing the new ROTS RPG cards.

New vehicles include: Republic Assault Gunboat (bigger, sleeker gunship with a big cannon), Republic Military Airspeeder, Acclamator Mk. II Assault Ship (can´t tell any real difference between it an the Mk. I)

And there´s plenty of new quotes and pictures of other vehicles and people as well.

EDIT: Here they are:

How can the ARC be the precursor of the Headhunter? The Headhunter is already around by the Battle of Naboo.

That would make the ARC an even older design. No real continuity error there, since we know so little about it anyways.

So the “new” republic strike fighter is in fact a ship that was build more then 13 years in the past. :?

Who cares? A new weapon can always be modernized and refitted or recommissioned if its design and scale and sophistication permits it. Especially in a civilization without appreciable scientific or technological progress.

Just strikes me as odd that after having huge flying hangar decks build, they get some more then a decade old star fighter as their main strike craft. Sure, it might be the best thing they could find, still odd though, that they did not build something new.

And you presume they selected their strike fighter after designing the Venator why?

They properly did it at the same time, though in fact they might have build the Venator, because they took the ARC Fighter as main strike craft. After all the ARC has a wingspan of 22.85 meters and they properly needed the “flying space hangar” design just to fit them right.

Just because the ARC is an older design, doesn´t necessarily mean it´s worse than newer designs. Just look at the EA-6B Prowler, which has served since the early 70's. I read somewhere it was being phased out in 1999, but then they decided to keep it and just upgrade it. (Next big upgrade should be finished by 2010!)

Not to mention the Harrier (the 60's) or the B-52 (In service since the late 50's and estimated to last beyond 2040!)

Where did I say the ship was bad, because it is old? It is just strange that they should pick up a 13+ year old strike craft, when the rest of their ships seem all new.

It´s implied, since you think it´s strange that they keep a ship that´s old. Why does everything need to be new if it won´t make any difference?

No of course not, the Headhunter can kill TIE Fighters better then some modern star fighters and it is some 30+ years old by the battle of Yavin, for example. But, I am certain someone will soon screw over how old Headhunters are, when they say ARCs were designed one years after the clone wars began, or something like it.
