Worst ship design?
Of all the ships in sci-fi, which do you think had the worst design, either because there was some gaping blind spot that hindered it, the design was impractical, or it was innifecent?

The original Galaxy class also had a rather big warp core problem, but at least this was fixed in later models and upgrades.

I always thought of the Minbary cruisers (not the whitestars). I am no expert but do they even have any reward or side weapons at all? It looks as though they are designed for a head to head engagement only.

Most of the guns on both the Sharlin and the Tinashi are capable of 180 degree rotation, with the point defense guns capable of 360 degrees. This would give at least some sidefire capability, but I can't find any evidence for rearward firing.
