Fate of Asajj Ventress?
What happens to Asajj Ventress? Does she survive to ROTS and beyond, meaning that she will probably float around the past-era EU without resolution indefinitely like Aurra Sing? (She could be hunted down by Vader for completeness.)
We don’t know as of now, the Star Wars Obsession Series by Dark Horse will tell us, it’s currently at the 4. of 5 books, I will spoiler to you what happens to her once I picked up the 5. comic. Anyway, this is what we currently know by the time of Obsession 4...
We see her in a Bacta (or Clone Tank) so she seems to be alive (or got cloned), despite having been thrown of the top of a building in Republic 71, by Skywalker.

I wish she'd hurry up and fucking die.

I believe the ROTS VD states that she survives ROTS. The Dark Woman also survives the ROTS purge, vader collects her lightsabre some years later.
They should have left Ventress die when Anakin dropped here ass off that Coruscant building.

SW Databank mentions Aurra Sing as having participated in some of Jabba the Hutt's demolition contests (a lame game for the ps1 if anyone is confused), so she is still running around.VT-16 wrote:Aurra Sing lives on in the OT era, I believe. I think it was mentioned that future stories with Assaj will take place after ROTS.

Only the once that don't get mentioned somewhere else as well, as several Tales stories have been in the new essential guide to characters. Plus, all newer Tales are canon, so far only the two most recent ones. Aurra Sing is also mentioned in the new essential guide to characters btw.which is considered "infinities" and thus not part of the canon

Yeah, in the battle basically Obi Wan sneaks past the gate where Grievious is guarding and it looks that next issue is a partial showdown of GG versus Anakin/Mace.SylasGaunt wrote:Was that greivous I see in the upper panel?Gorefiend wrote:Last page of the Obsession comic #4

But the Dark Woman vs. Vader fight is considered Infinities, (checked my Vol. 1 to be sure). Which is what im referring to. I have the first five volumes of SW Tales and all of them so far as I have seen are "infinites".Gorefiend wrote:Only the once that don't get mentioned somewhere else as well, as several Tales stories have been in the new essential guide to characters. Why does it matter even if Sing is in the Essential GUide to characters (which I do have), I know she exists in the SW universe (see my citing the SW Databank) and I also know because of her appearance in TPM.
EDIT:
As for Ventress wouldn't it make sense for her to be killed off in the Clone Wars cartoons since they brought her into existence in the first place? THat's what I was hoping for anyway. She seems too, to use a term loosely, 'important' to be killed off in a comic.

I always thought they get moved up to canon if they are backed by another source, like the Mara Jada/ Crix Madine story, or the Lando’s Commandos and Bespin story, or the Vader/ Black Women one + a few others. Its usually not to hard to tell which once aren’t to be taken all to serious, anyway. But the Dark Woman vs. Vader fight is considered Infinities, (checked my Vol. 1 to be sure). Ah my mistake. I thought Ventress'appearance in the first round of Clone Wars shorts was her first. thanks.VT-16 wrote:No, both she and Durge were introduced long before the cartoon.since they brought her into existence in the first place?

Really, are all of the SW tales considered infinites? I have the originals, I always thought that applied to the obviously comical stories. But the Dark Woman vs. Vader fight is considered Infinities, (checked my Vol. 1 to be sure). I asked the same question on here and the answer given was that the latest issues were C-Level, while issues 20 and before were Infinities.Spartan wrote:Darth Fanboy wrote:
