Bete quadrant?

Post by Lex »

reason why i post this here: other scifie is everything BESIDES SW and ST, and Pure star Wars in only SW.... as far as i know, there are four quadrants in the ST galaxy... the delta quadrant, mainly controlled by the bord, thr gamma quadranmt controlled by the dominion, and the alpha quadrant controlled by federation, romulans and klingons,....so, who mcontrolls the beta quadrant, and were is it located at????

The beta quadrant is located adjacent to the alpha quadrant. The federation is right on the border, the klingons and romulans are on the other side. So, beta is dominated by the kilngons and romulans.

No, they're all the same size. Where did you get the idea that they aren't?

At no time is it said that the empires we see control all of their respective quadrants.

Basically, a quadrant is one-quarter of the galaxy. Earth exists on the deviding line between the alpha and beta quadrants. Most of the federation exists in the alpha quadrant, as well as the entirety of the cardassian and ferengi empires. The "old" ST enemies (romulans and klingons) exist in the beta quadrant. Most of the galaxy, however, remains unexplored, so they are actually controlling only a small portion of their respective quadrants. What makes empires like the dominion and the borg so scary to the federation is that they actually control the majority of their respective quadrants, thereby placing either one of them on par with the federation and all its allies combined Hopefully, that should remove any confusion.
