Oh, I've been told I'm going to hell by several KidFundies before. The usual adolescent trend of thinking one has it all sussed out is even worse when fueled by a religious fervor that tells one the same thing.
Peace is a lie, there is only passion
Through passion, I gain strength
Through strength, I gain power
Through power, I gain victory
Through victory, my chains are broken
The Force shall free me.

I know this part of the discussion seems past but I once had a similar discusion with an old Flat mate. (He was a Born again Christian it was first year we got placed in halls fairly randomnly) He asked me quite nicely if what he had heard about Catholics Worshipping Mary as a God was true. I was able to set him straight with the best explanation of it I have ever heard.

'Mary is Jesus Mother, look at your own Mum and her ability to Nag you into anything. All we really do is ask Mary to Nag God for us in that way all Mothers can do.' I only wish I could remember who told me that way of explaining it.

As it is for a Born again Fundy he was fairly decent and willing to listen and be convinced, hell he even forgave me for my Drunken rant about Hating Fundalmentalist Christians. (I was drunk and didn't qualify it correctly I should have said Hating Fundalmentalist Christians of the Phelps variety.)

And now I am way of topic I shall shut up now.
From a review of the two Towers.... 'As for Gimli being comic relief, what if your comic relief had a huge axe and fells dozens of Orcs? That's a pretty cool comic relief. '
