Since ANH special edition. It flys out of Mos Eisley as Luke and co. drive in durring the extended scene.

But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red

Seeing how when they originally did the OT VD and ICS they were just content with cramming everything in one book, they have sense learned to just mass produce as much shit right away knowing die hards will pick it up. With that said, even though I have them, I would definitely like to see seperate more in depth VDs and ICSs of the OT films. Whether this would come to fruitation is another matter. Since they now have two EGtV&V, the SW Dictionary, and a handful of other books all revolving around the same shit. I haven't bought some of those though, since they rely too heavily on the EU, where as I want something comprehensive (like the majority of the vote on this board) for the movies themselves that is on a higher tier then other books out.

OT ICS2
  • GR-75 (aside on fireship modification from the Battle of Endor)
  • Droids' Escape Pod
  • Probot Pod with image of unfolded Probot
  • TIE Bomber (with an aside on the TIE Shuttle used by Needa to visit HIMS Executor)
  • Cloud City Cloud Car
  • Imperator/Imperial-class Star Destroyer Mark II (with an aside on the Tector-class Star Destroyer)
  • Fold-Out (Behind SD): HIMS Executor (with battle damage)
  • RAS Home One
  • Small Rebel Warships (Nebulon-B, RAS Liberty with small image of anonymous pearly wingless variant and constrasts)
  • A-Wing (aside on ROTJ Battle-Modified Falcon)
  • B-Wing
  • TIE Interceptor
  • Lambda-class Shuttle (aside on Imperial Landing Craft)
  • Communications Ship (seen on-fire in Battle of Endor)
  • Death Star II
Revised.

Brought in GR-75, decided ISD II is popular enough to get in on its own, and removed the DS2 because its redundant. Any thoughts?

Dude- you did not just leave out the Lambda-class Shuttle?

I disagree with showing post-crash damage on the Executor- that was already done, it doesn't need to be rehashed, does it? With the bridge tower given extensive treatment in ITW: OT, they should focus on the hull and weapons implacements.

The T-16 doesn't really deserve a place in it, IMO- its never seen in the OT except parked.

The "Y-Head" aka BG Ship (an early hyperspace feature showed the ship as it looked like, it looked good in a junky Rebel sort of way) also probably falls under that category.

I meant showing GR-75 fireships on ramming courses and pointing out engine misfires dooming the warship, etc.

Oops on the Lambda.

Meh, I would keep the list nice and clean...

As much fun as it would be to see things like the YT-2400, A Skyhopper or the Y-Head, We should really keep it only to things that play a part in the actually movie. If you started including ships that you just SEE, that would quickly rise into the thousands...

As for the Executer, I would think we would see it pre-Hoth, in near perfect condition

There are items in the ROTS ICS that will get cameos at best. What about Slave 1 in the OT ICS? Come on now.

And besides, each ICS has 13-15 entries, including 1 fold-out. I need to create an entry so I compressed several ships at Mos Eisley - T-16 and YT-2400. Besides, we do see it flying in the end sequence of ROTJ.

Why? Showing it right before crash could silence a lot of nitpickers by pointing out the details of her loss and defeat, including GR-75 fireships, shield failure, engine misfire, etc.

The T-16 is already in the OT ITW.

VERY Good point there IP :D
I was thinking along oppiside lines. Of showing her at her full glory, But that would ((While less pretty)) would be far more informative and useful, which more and more is what the ICS are good for.

Ah, Don't be so hard on yourself man :) Of course since it is in the other book, we really don't need it or the other TIE's. Even the ISD-II may not be needed since it is so similar to the Mk-I, I'm not sure.

They could fill out the GR-75 page with mentions of Armed Merchant Cruisers as well, if they feel like explaining all the GR's that survived the battle. :D

I don't think showing her damaged is necessary to convey what happened to her- the ITW:OT went into a lot of that already, you could simply put up a paragraph to relate what happened without necessarily having it illustrated.

It might also be worth it to show the Executor in its prime, with blurbs on Death Squadron and the starships yards of Fondor where it was built. Not to mention tackle the ridiculous fighter complement size goof.

Fantastic idea on the probot, IP. I completely overlooked it, but now that it's been mentioned I actually would like to see an entry on it. Detail on how it performs it's operations, as well as common defensive tactics against them, would be very interesting.
